One Luambe camp rate reaches USD 750 per person per night, while the park entry fee is listed at USD 15 per international visitor per day.[3]
Luambe National Park safari packages in 2027 cost about USD 3,950 to USD 7,015 for multi-day trips, while Luambe Horizons Camp lists USD 750 per person per night.[1][4] Luambe sits in eastern Zambia, near the Luangwa Valley. August and September are useful planning points because listed 2027 walking departures run during those months.[7]
Luambe National Park safari packages in 2027 are multi-day trips based in one of Zambia's smaller safari areas. The park sits in the Luangwa Valley, close to larger North and South Luangwa routes. Its location makes it useful for travelers who want a quieter camp stay and a longer Zambia itinerary.
The price needs care. A package total may include accommodation, meals, guided activities, transfers, flights, and park fees. A camp rate may cover meals and one activity, yet exclude road transfers or other costs. Always read the inclusions before comparing two prices.
Luambe National Park is best suited to travelers who value time in the bush over a quick checklist trip. It can also fit a wider route through Zambia that includes South Luangwa, North Luangwa, or another national park. SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators, package details, and authentic traveler reviews.
Quick answer: A Luambe safari in 2027 costs USD 3,950 to USD 7,015 for selected multi-day packages. Luambe Horizons Camp lists USD 750 per person per night. The listed international visitor entry fee is USD 15 per day, based on 2026 fee information.[1][3][4] August and September have published walking departures for the wider Luangwa region.[7]
Luambe National Park safari packages are organized trips that combine accommodation, meals, safari activities, and access to the Luangwa Valley. The exact mix depends on the operator and the camp. Some packages cover eight or nine nights, while walking itineraries can run for 10 days.[1][7]
Luangwa Valley Safaris lists the 2027 Best of Both South package at USD 5,370 per person sharing for eight nights.[1] The Best of Both North package is listed at USD 5,105 per person sharing for eight nights.[1] These prices are useful benchmarks for a longer route rather than a single-night visit.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best of Both South | USD 5,370 per person sharing | 8 nights | Not listed | Travelers combining Luambe with southern Luangwa areas |
| Best of Both North | USD 5,105 per person sharing | 8 nights | Not listed | Travelers adding North Luangwa access |
| Ultimate Luangwa | USD 7,015 per person sharing | 9 nights | Not listed | Travelers wanting a longer Luangwa route |
| Luambe and Luangwa safari | USD 3,950 to USD 4,390 | 9 days | Not listed | Travelers seeking a lower listed package range |
Luambe Horizons Camp lists a fully inclusive rate of USD 750 per person per night.[1] That rate gives travelers a simple starting point for estimating a short stay. A two-night stay at that listed rate equals USD 1,500 per person before checking transport, park fees, flights, and any activities not included.
North Luangwa Skybeds lists USD 275 per person per night on a self-drive basis.[1] The listed rate includes accommodation, meals and drinks, and one safari activity each day. It excludes park fees and levies, road transfers or flights, and extra safari activities.[1] This is a different product from a fully planned Luambe package, so the two rates should not be treated as equal.
Luambe safari packages matter because headline prices can hide separate costs. The 2027 source lists park fees and levies of USD 60 per person per night for the North Luangwa Skybeds rate.[1] That figure is different from the USD 15 international visitor entry fee listed in SafariFind's 2026 Zambia fee table.[3] Ask the operator which fee applies to your exact route.
Compare Luambe safari packages and request quotes from verified operators before choosing a camp. Look for a clear list of meals, activities, transfers, taxes, park fees, and flights.
A high package price does not always mean better wildlife viewing. It may reflect longer transfers, private guiding, remote camps, internal flights, or a wider route. A lower price may use self-drive access and leave more planning work with you.
Known for: Luambe safari planning is known for small camp choices, longer Luangwa routes, and a mix of drive-based and walking experiences. Best for: travelers who want a remote Zambia trip and can plan around transport details.
The main Luambe safari costs are the package rate, accommodation, park access, transport, activities, and travel insurance. In 2027, published package examples range from USD 3,950 for a nine-day Luangwa and Luambe safari to USD 7,015 for the nine-night Ultimate Luangwa package.[1][4]
SafariFind's Zambia park fee information lists Luambe entry at USD 15 per international visitor per person per day for visits between 06:00 and 18:00.[3] The same table lists USD 10 for SADC residents and a Zambian citizen rate in kwacha.[3] The source is 2026 fee information, so confirm the final 2027 amount before payment.
Park fees can appear in a package price or sit outside it. The difference affects your final budget. Ask for a written quote that says whether the price includes daily entry, conservation levies, vehicle fees, guide costs, and night activity charges.
Luambe Horizons Camp lists USD 750 per person per night on a fully inclusive basis.[1] The phrase fully inclusive sounds clear, but you should still request the full list. Confirm whether it covers drinks, laundry, transfers, activities, park access, and airport pickup.
North Luangwa Skybeds lists USD 275 per person per night on a self-drive basis.[1] The rate includes accommodation, meals and drinks, and one safari activity each day. It does not include park fees and levies, road transfers or flights, or extra activities.[1]
The following prices show why travelers should compare like with like. The first three rates are eight or nine-night packages. The Luambe Horizons figure is a nightly camp rate. The North Luangwa Skybeds figure is a self-drive rate, not a complete fly-in package.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Luambe Horizons Camp | USD 750 per person per night | Per night | Not listed | Fully inclusive camp stays |
| North Luangwa Skybeds | USD 275 per person per night | Per night | Not listed | Self-drive travelers |
| Best of Both North | USD 5,105 per person sharing | 8 nights | Not listed | North Luangwa route planning |
| Ultimate Luangwa | USD 7,015 per person sharing | 9 nights | Not listed | Longer premium itineraries |
Travelers comparing costs should request two quotes with the same dates and inclusions. SafariFind lets you compare operators and read authentic reviews before you decide. Compare tour operators for a 2027 Luambe safari and check current inclusions.
Responsible Travel lists a Luangwa and Luambe safari at USD 3,950 to USD 4,390 for nine days.[4] This range gives budget planners another reference point. It does not replace a direct quote because route design and inclusions can change the final amount.
Wildlife Worldwide lists a 10-day Classic South Luangwa Walking Safari at £7,495 per person, including flights, for departures on 19 August, 3 September, 18 September, or 23 September 2027.[7] This is a South Luangwa walking trip, not a direct Luambe package, but it helps show the cost of a guided walking itinerary with flights.
Price range: plan around USD 3,950 to USD 7,015 for the listed multi-day examples, then add any excluded transport, fees, and activities.[1][4]
Start by choosing the route, travel month, and comfort level. Then ask operators for a written 2027 quote that separates accommodation, park fees, transfers, activities, and flights. This approach prevents a low nightly rate from becoming an expensive final bill.
Getting there: your operator should explain the road and flight plan in the quote. Do not assume that a camp rate includes airport transfers. A route may connect with Lusaka, a Luangwa airstrip, or another Zambia safari stop, but the published rates above do not give one standard transfer price.
Best time to visit: August and September are clear planning dates for the listed 2027 walking departures. WildLife Worldwide lists departures on 19 August, 3 September, 18 September, and 23 September 2027.[7] Those dates relate to South Luangwa walking travel, so ask whether a Luambe stay can connect with your chosen departure.
Travelers who want a broader route can compare Luambe with other Zambia safari areas. The Kafue National Park 2027 guide helps compare another major park. The Bangweulu Wetlands safari cost guide suits travelers who want a different wetland setting.
Book early when your trip depends on a fixed camp or a small group. Ask for the operator's current availability rather than relying on an old rate sheet. The 2027 rates in this guide are published reference points, not a promise that every date remains open.[1]
Read reviews that mention guides, transfers, food, room comfort, and communication. A review that only says a trip was enjoyable tells you little about logistics. SafariFind's marketplace helps you review operator information and compare available safari packages in one place.
Keep a buffer for costs not listed in the package. This can include international flights, visas, tips, travel insurance, drinks, private vehicles, extra activities, and transfers. The exact amount depends on your route, so ask the operator for a full cost sheet.
These questions make quotes easier to compare. They also show whether an operator understands the practical needs of a remote safari.
Selected 2027 Luambe and Luangwa safari packages cost USD 3,950 to USD 7,015. The published examples include an eight-night Best of Both South package at USD 5,370 and a nine-night Ultimate Luangwa package at USD 7,015 per person sharing.[1][4]
Luambe National Park entry is listed at USD 15 per international visitor per person per day for 06:00 to 18:00 in 2026 fee information.[3] Ask your operator to confirm the 2027 fee and whether it is already included in your package.
Luambe Horizons Camp lists USD 750 per person per night on a fully inclusive basis.[1] Request the full inclusion list because transfers, park fees, drinks, and extra activities can affect the final price.
The published Luangwa and Luambe safari range starts at USD 3,950 for nine days.[4] North Luangwa Skybeds lists USD 275 per person per night on a self-drive basis, but that rate excludes park fees and levies, road transfers or flights, and additional activities.[1]
August and September are useful dates for planning because a related 2027 South Luangwa walking safari lists departures on 19 August, 3 September, 18 September, and 23 September.[7] Confirm Luambe camp availability and route connections for your chosen dates.
Use SafariFind to compare safari packages, review verified operators, and request a quote for your dates. Explore 2027 Luambe safari packages and compare current prices before paying a deposit.
Luambe National Park safari packages in 2027 are best planned with a full cost sheet, not a single headline rate. Published examples range from USD 3,950 to USD 7,015 for multi-day trips.[1][4] Luambe Horizons Camp lists USD 750 per person per night, while the listed international visitor entry fee is USD 15 per day in 2026 fee information.[1][3]
Choose a longer package if you want Luambe combined with North or South Luangwa. Choose a camp-only stay if you prefer a simpler plan, but confirm transfers and park fees first. August and September offer fixed walking dates in the wider Luangwa region for 2027.[7]
Compare verified safari packages on SafariFind and request a quote from trusted operators. Read authentic reviews before you book, then check every inclusion in writing. SafariFind gives 2027 travelers a practical way to compare Luambe prices and plan with better cost control.

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."
