About this safari

<p>Join us on this short safari from Lusaka, Zambia's capital, to Livingstone and the world-famous Victoria Falls (or vice versa). Instead of traveling by bus or plane, you will get an impression of Zambia's beautiful national parks, wildlife and nature. We can run this trip also vice versa (starting in Livingstone, ending in Lusaka), <br>The published rate is for a minimum of 4 participants, a surcharge will apply if the trip is done with only 2-3 people.<br>Runs between April and end of November of each year.</p>

Transfer from Lusaka to Kafue National Park

Kafue National Park

<p>Pick up from the airport in Lusaka or your accommodation and transfer to Kafue National Park (around 4-5 hours driving). In the afternoon of day 1 we will do our first game drive in the central part of Kafue NP.<br> Camping on the banks of the Kafue River at Kasabushi Camp (FB)</p>

Game drives in Kafue National Park

<p>On day 2 we have the whole day to explore the area on game drives.<br>Several small rivers cross this area. These leave a number of waterholes in the dry season for the animals to quench their thirst. Wild dogs, which roam large areas of the park, cheetah and lion are among the inhabitants here. (FB)</p>

Game Drives around Lake Ithezi Thezi

<p>After breakfast we head in southern direction to Lake Ithezi-Thezi. We do game drives in this area of the park. Game occur plentiful on the lake shore and the scenery especially at sunset is breathtaking!<br>Camping next to the lake at New Kalala Campsite (just outside the park). (FB)</p>

<p>We pack up camp and drive to the southern area of Kafue Park, close to Nanzhilla Plains, which is famous for its leopard population. Afternoon game drive in this area. Camping at Hornbilll Campsite (FB).</p>

Transfer to Livingstone

Livingstone

<p>After a last morning game drive near the Nanzhila Plains, we head to Livingstone, where we arrive in the afternoon. There are a lot of activities on offer: white water rafting, sundowner drift, canoeing, swimming under the Victoria Falls and Devil’s Pool and much more (optional)</p><p>Drop off at your accommodation in town.
