Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and begin your scenic road transfer to Kafue National Park, one of Africa's largest and most diverse wildlife reserves. This journey takes about 4–5 hours, offering a glimpse of Zambia's rural landscapes and local life along the way.</p><p>Upon arrival in the park, you will check in at <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="text-green-700 underline" href="https://mwamfushisafarilodge.co.zm/index.php/gallery">Mwamfunshi Safari Lodge</a>, beautifully set along the banks of the Kafue River.</p><p>After check-in, indulge in a tasty lunch at the lodge. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful environment as you get ready for your initial game safari. Later, go on a <strong>sunset boat cruise on the Kafue River</strong>, offering opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, and diverse bird species while marvelling at the beautiful African sunset.</p><p>Finally, return to the lodge for dinner and spend the night there.</p>

These natural rises provide ideal vantage points for observing wildlife, tracking animal movements, and appreciating the vastness of Kafue's landscape from a different perspective.</p>

<p>Start your day with breakfast before heading out on a guided game drive in Kafue National Park. As one of Africa's largest parks, it's known for its extensive, pristine wilderness and a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, different antelope species, and abundant birdlife.</p><p>Later, enjoy a distinctive island picnic on Pebble Island along the Kafue River. You will be taken by boat to a quiet sandbank or small island, surrounded by water and nature. Here, a laid-back picnic is set up amid the wild, offering a tranquil spot to enjoy your meal while watching wildlife along the riverbank, with hippos and birds often close by.</p><p>Return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay</p>
