A seven-day Lake Kariba package for 2027 starts at US$8,023 per person, while another complete option starts at US$3,160 before international flights. [1]
Zambia Safari Holidays 2027: Beach & Lake Packages combine wildlife trips with lakeside stays in destinations such as Lake Kariba. Prices range from US$3,160 to US$19,300 per person in the listed 2027-ready offers. January to March suits one Lake Kariba package, while July offers a listed safari-and-beach itinerary. Compare verified operators on SafariFind before booking.
Zambia Safari Holidays 2027: Beach & Lake Packages are multi-stop trips that pair safari time with lakeside relaxation. Instead of ending your holiday after a game drive, you can add a beach-style stay beside Lake Kariba or choose a wider safari-and-beach itinerary. These trips suit travelers who want wildlife and slower days in one holiday.
Zambia is also a useful starting point for trips that include Victoria Falls, Kafue, South Luangwa, or Lower Zambezi. SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators, package details, and authentic reviews. That makes it easier to compare the total trip cost, rather than focusing only on the first advertised rate.
Quick answer: Zambia beach and lake safari packages cost from US$3,160 for a complete Lake Kariba option, excluding international flights. A supplied seven-day Lake Kariba package starts at US$8,023. A luxury safari-and-beach itinerary lists US$19,300 for July 2027. [1][3]
Prices do not follow one simple pattern. Some rates cover a set itinerary, while others depend on two people sharing, room type, flight class, exchange rates, or peak travel periods. [3] This guide explains the main package types, costs, planning steps, and questions to ask before you request a quote.
Zambia safari holidays with beach and lake stays combine a safari route with time beside inland water. The lake element is not an ocean beach. It is a lakeside break, often sold as part of a longer private or small-group itinerary. Lake Kariba is the clearest price example in the supplied 2027 research.
Lake Kariba packages give travelers a way to add rest after, before, or between safari activities. One supplied seven-day package for travel from January 1 to March 31, 2027, starts at US$8,023 per person. Another complete package starts at US$3,160 per person and excludes international flights. [1]
Lake Kariba is therefore best for travelers who want a defined seven-day plan and a lakeside finish. The lower listed price is not a direct like-for-like comparison with the US$8,023 offer. Ask each operator what the package includes, such as transfers, activities, meals, accommodation, and internal flights.
Compare 7-day Zambia beach and lake safari packages on SafariFind to review prices and verified operator options.
A lake stay changes the pace of a safari holiday. Game drives can feel active and time-led. A lakeside stop gives you room to plan quiet days, enjoy views, and avoid moving between camps every night. The right balance depends on whether you value more wildlife time or more rest.
The wider SafariFind catalog also includes Zambia destination pages for Lake Itezhi Tezhi, Kariba Dam, and other locations. Use those pages to shape a route, then ask verified operators whether they can build the right lake-and-safari mix.
These packages are best for couples, families, and first-time safari travelers who want both activity and rest. They also suit guests who prefer one planned holiday instead of booking separate safari and beach suppliers. Families should ask about room layouts, transfer times, and child policies before paying a deposit.
Travelers seeking a larger route can consider a Zambia and Zimbabwe adventure. Responsible Travel lists a 15-day option with 2027 departures on March 20, April 17, June 5, July 17, August 14, September 11, October 2, October 30, and November 27. Its displayed price is 2,090–2,210, excluding flights; the supplied extract does not state the currency. [2]
Zambia safari holidays with lakeside or beach-style stays cost from US$3,160 to US$19,300 per person in the supplied listings. The price depends on duration, accommodation, inclusions, travel dates, and whether the quote assumes two people sharing. Compare the package scope before treating one headline rate as cheaper.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Complete Lake Kariba package | From US$3,160 per person, excluding international flights | Not stated in supplied extract | Not supplied | Travelers seeking the lowest listed lake package price |
| Lake Kariba 2027 package | From US$8,023 per person | 7 days | Not supplied | Travelers planning January 1–March 31, 2027 |
| Kafue and Lower Zambezi safari | From US$5,680 | 7 days | Not supplied | Guests prioritizing a two-park safari route |
| Ultimate Zambia safari and beach | From US$19,300 | Not stated in supplied extract | Not supplied | Luxury travelers considering July 2027 |
| Zambia Discovery Safari | US$11,150 per person sharing | 8 days | Not supplied | Travelers combining Victoria Falls, Kafue, and South Luangwa |
The comparison shows why budget questions need careful wording. The US$3,160 Lake Kariba rate excludes international flights. The US$11,150 Zambia Discovery Safari is priced per person sharing and covers Victoria Falls, Kafue, and South Luangwa. [1][8] These offers may include different services, so the cheapest headline price is not always the lowest final cost.
Scott Dunn lists its Ultimate Zambia itinerary from US$19,300, with a US$2,900 deposit and July 2027 availability. [3] Scott Dunn also says its quoted price is a guideline based on two people sharing. It excludes special offers and may change with peak periods, exchange rates, flight class, and room type. [3]
Other listed benchmarks help place the luxury offers in context. Adventure Life lists a seven-day Kafue and Lower Zambezi safari from US$5,680. [4] Audley Travel lists a 13-day Zambia itinerary from US$14,255 per person and a 10-day Zambia and Zimbabwe itinerary from US$10,050 per person. [7]
Compare Zambia safari packages by price and duration on SafariFind, then request a quote that states flights, rooms, transfers, and sharing terms.
Start with the total, not the deposit. A low deposit does not show the final holiday cost. Ask for a written breakdown of accommodation, meals, park fees, activities, transfers, flights, taxes, and exclusions.
SafariFind helps you compare tour operators and read authentic reviews before you decide. A verified operator should explain what the rate covers and how the price changes if you travel alone, upgrade your room, or alter the dates.
Plan your Zambia beach and lake safari by choosing the lake, safari parks, dates, and budget in that order. Then compare the full inclusions. A clear plan prevents a common mistake: selecting a low headline rate before checking flights, transfers, room type, and the number of safari nights.
Lake Kariba is the strongest match for a dedicated lake package in the supplied data. Choose it when lakeside rest is central to your trip. Choose a route through Victoria Falls, Kafue, and South Luangwa when you want a broader Zambia safari experience. Discover Africa lists that combination as an eight-day Zambia Discovery Safari from US$11,150 per person sharing. [8]
Visitors who want a route beginning in the capital can review the SafariFind page for Lusaka. The marketplace also lists destination information for Lochinvar National Park, Choma, and Chingola. These pages can help you discuss possible route ideas with an operator.
One Lake Kariba offer covers travel from January 1 to March 31, 2027. [1] Scott Dunn lists July 2027 travel for its Ultimate Zambia safari-and-beach itinerary. [3] Responsible Travel lists nine 2027 departure dates for its 15-day Zambia and Zimbabwe adventure. [2]
These dates are useful planning signals, not a promise of availability. Confirm the exact departure date, booking deadline, cancellation terms, and remaining space with the operator. Ask whether the lakeside stay runs on the same dates as the safari portion.
A seven-day trip works for travelers who want a focused route. An eight-day trip allows a little more room for a multi-stop plan. A 10- to 15-day itinerary suits travelers who want Zambia combined with Zimbabwe or several safari areas. Longer trips also need more attention to internal transfers and rest days.
Audley Travel’s listed options show this range clearly: 10 days in Zambia and Zimbabwe from US$10,050 per person, or 13 days in Zambia from US$14,255 per person. [7] Use duration as a planning tool, not as a quality score. A shorter route can still fit your needs better.
Responsible travel should shape your operator choice. Read SafariFind’s guide to how safari tourism funds conservation in Zambia. You can also learn about wildlife corridors and habitats in Zambia before you travel.
Ask operators how they manage waste, support local staff, and protect wildlife areas. A good quote should explain the experience in plain language. It should not hide key costs behind a very low starting price.
The best 2027 package depends on your main goal, available time, and total budget. Choose Lake Kariba for a lake-led holiday, Kafue and Lower Zambezi for a seven-day safari route, or a longer Zambia and Zimbabwe trip for a wider Southern Africa journey.
The complete Lake Kariba package from US$3,160 is the lowest listed starting point. It excludes international flights, and the supplied extract does not state its duration. [1] Ask for a full itinerary before comparing it with the seven-day package from US$8,023.
The seven-day Kafue and Lower Zambezi option starts at US$5,680. [4] This package is a better fit when wildlife drives matter more than a long lakeside stay. Confirm whether the listed rate includes park fees, meals, transfers, and accommodation upgrades.
The eight-day Zambia Discovery Safari costs US$11,150 per person sharing and covers Victoria Falls, Kafue, and South Luangwa. [8] This route suits travelers who want several headline stops in one plan. More stops can also mean more transfers, so review the daily schedule closely.
Scott Dunn’s Ultimate Zambia safari-and-beach itinerary starts at US$19,300, with a US$2,900 deposit and July 2027 travel availability. [3] This is a high-budget option. Its price is a guideline based on two people sharing, and the final rate can change with peak periods, exchange rates, flight class, and room type. [3]
Responsible Travel lists a 15-day Zambia and Zimbabwe adventure at 2,090–2,210 excluding flights. The supplied extract does not identify the currency. [2] Audley Travel lists a 10-day Zambia and Zimbabwe itinerary from US$10,050 per person. [7] Ask both suppliers to confirm what “excluding flights” means for your departure city.
There is no single best Zambia safari holiday for every traveler. The right choice is the package that matches your dates, room needs, route, and full budget. Compare operators through SafariFind, read traveler feedback, and request quotes with identical questions.
Travelers can also explore SafariFind destination pages for Zambia, Mana Pools National Park, and Kasama. These pages support early research before you narrow your package list.
Zambia beach and lake safari packages cost from US$3,160 to US$19,300 per person in the supplied 2027 listings. The US$3,160 Lake Kariba package excludes international flights, while Scott Dunn’s US$19,300 rate is based on two people sharing and may change with peak periods, flights, exchange rates, and room type. [1][3]
The cheapest listed Zambia lake package starts at US$3,160 per person for a complete Lake Kariba package. International flights are excluded, and the supplied extract does not state the duration. Confirm inclusions, transfers, accommodation, and dates before treating this as your final trip budget. [1]
One supplied seven-day Lake Kariba package covers travel from January 1 to March 31, 2027. Another listed Zambia safari-and-beach itinerary has July 2027 availability. Ask the operator to confirm exact dates, available rooms, transfer plans, and cancellation rules before you pay. [1][3]
A Zambia beach holiday is generally a lakeside experience in the supplied packages, not an ocean coastline. Lake Kariba is the main lake example in this guide. Confirm the exact lake, accommodation, activities, and number of nights because package names and inclusions differ.
The listed Zambia Discovery Safari is an eight-day option from US$11,150 per person sharing. It covers Victoria Falls, Kafue, and South Luangwa. This route suits travelers who want several major stops, but you should confirm transfer times and included services before booking. [8]
Use SafariFind to compare verified tour operators, review package prices, and read authentic traveler reviews. Request quotes that list flights, rooms, meals, transfers, park fees, deposits, and cancellation terms. Then compare like-for-like offers before selecting your Zambia safari holiday.
Zambia Safari Holidays 2027: Beach & Lake Packages range from a US$3,160 Lake Kariba option to a US$19,300 luxury safari-and-beach itinerary. [1][3] The right package depends on your route, dates, and total budget. Lake Kariba suits travelers who want a focused lakeside break. The eight-day Zambia Discovery Safari suits guests seeking Victoria Falls, Kafue, and South Luangwa in one route. [8]
Start planning with a clear date window. January to March matches one supplied Lake Kariba offer, while July 2027 matches the listed Scott Dunn itinerary. Always confirm flights, sharing terms, room type, transfers, and deposits.

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."
