A Kundalila Falls package in 2027 can mean a simple falls visit or a multi-day Zambia walking safari. The reported entrance price is US$15 per person, while camping may add US$15 per person per night. A 15-day walking safari that includes Kundalila Falls is listed at EUR 3,890 per person sharing. The dry season is the practical time to plan a visit.
US$15 is the reported entrance price for Kundalila Falls, but a full 2027 package can cost far more.
Kundalila Falls is a waterfall in central Zambia. The Kaombe River drops about 70 metres near Kanona, east of the Great North Road [6]. That location makes the falls a strong road-trip stop, but it also means your total budget depends on transport, camping, guiding, and the rest of your route.
This guide separates the local access cost from a full safari package. That distinction matters. A person driving through Central Province may spend close to the entrance fee and campsite cost. A traveller joining a scheduled walking safari may pay thousands of euros because the price covers far more than Kundalila Falls.
Prices below reflect information available in November 2026 for travel in 2027. The reported entrance rate is not a confirmed official 2027 tariff. Treat it as a planning figure, then ask for a written quote before you pay.
Quick answer: A Kundalila Falls visit is reported at US$15 per person. Camping may add US$15 per person per night, based on a guidebook rate reported by one traveller. A 15-day Zambia walking safari including the falls is listed at EUR 3,890 per person sharing, plus EUR 290 for a single supplement [2][3].
A basic Kundalila Falls package costs about US$15 per person for entry, while a camping visit may cost about US$30 per person before transport. A full 15-day walking safari costs EUR 3,890 per person sharing. These prices describe different trips, so comparing them as one product would give you the wrong budget.
Kundalila Falls has a reported entrance price of US$15 per person. A travel account describes the fee on a sign at the falls, while also saying that the camping price was unclear on site [3]. The same account cites a guidebook listing camping at an extra US$15 per person per night [3].
That gives a useful starting budget. One person visiting for the day would plan around US$15 for access. One person staying one night would plan around US$30 for access and camping. Two people staying one night would plan around US$60 together, before fuel, food, and any guide fee.
These figures are planning estimates for 2027, not a confirmed rate card. Carry cash and keep room in your budget for a change at the gate. Ask the operator or local site staff to confirm the current charge before departure.
Adventure Purists lists a 15-day Zambia walking safari at EUR 3,890 per person sharing. The trip requires at least four participants and accepts up to eight participants. The listed single supplement is EUR 290 per person [2].
The package is a different type of purchase from a day visit. A scheduled walking safari normally combines several days, transfers, accommodation, meals, guiding, and activities. The price therefore reflects the wider itinerary rather than the value of entry to Kundalila Falls alone.
The listed 2027 departures run from 14 to 28 July, 17 to 31 August, and 20 October to 3 November [2]. Those dates give you a clear booking window, but they do not establish a separate public price for a private Kundalila Falls day tour.
| Trip type | Published price | What it covers in the available details | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Falls visit | US$15 per person | Reported entrance fee | |||
| Falls visit with one camping night | About US$30 per person | Reported entrance fee plus guidebook camping rate | |||
| 15-day walking safari | EUR 3,890 per person sharing | Scheduled Zambia walking safari, four to eight participants | Single place on walking safari | EUR 4,180 per person | Sharing rate plus EUR 290 single supplement |
Use the table as a budget guide, not a promise of final 2027 pricing. The local fee and the walking safari price come from different travel products. They should not be blended into one average.
Compare 2027 Zambia safari packages and request a written quote before choosing between a self-drive stop and a scheduled walking trip.
A Kundalila Falls trip can include a waterfall visit, a natural pool, and a nearby camping area. A wider Zambia safari package can include transport, meals, accommodation, and a guide, but those inclusions depend on the itinerary. Read every quote line by line before treating it as a complete travel budget.
Kundalila Falls is known for the Kaombe River's 70-metre drop. The falls sit east of the Great North Road near Kanona in Central Province [6]. A natural pool lies at the foot of the falls, and a camping site is described nearby [6].
The setting suits travellers who want a short nature stop rather than a long lodge stay. You can build the falls into a wider Zambia route, then spend more time in a national park or another waterfall area. The right choice depends on how much driving you want to do.
A simple visit needs more planning than the entrance fee suggests. You still need to arrange transport to the falls, food, drinking water, and a place to sleep. The reported camping description mentions basic facilities, including toilets and a place to make a fire [3].
That basic setup may appeal to experienced campers. It may feel too rough for travellers who expect a lodge, private bathroom, or full meal service. Ask what the package supplies before you book, especially if you are travelling with children or carrying limited camping gear.
The 15-day walking safari listed for 2027 gives a useful example of a high-cost package. It has fixed departure dates, a group size of four to eight people, and a EUR 3,890 sharing rate [2]. The available listing places the trip within a wider Zambia walking itinerary.
A multi-day package saves you from arranging every transfer yourself. It also locks you into set dates and a group structure. That trade-off suits travellers who want a guide and a planned route. It may not suit someone who only wants to see the falls for one day.
The word "package" covers several products. It can mean a gate entry, a guided day trip, a camping break, or a 15-day walking safari. Ask four simple questions:
These questions protect your budget. They also make quotes easier to compare across operators listed in the SafariFind marketplace.
Start by choosing between a local waterfall stop and a multi-day safari. Then confirm access, camping, transport, and group size in writing. A clear plan keeps the low entrance price from hiding the real cost of reaching and staying at Kundalila Falls.
Choose a day visit if you already have transport through Central Province. This option keeps the known entry cost close to US$15 per person. Add the reported US$15 camping rate if you plan to sleep near the falls [3].
Choose a scheduled walking safari if you want a guide and a set route. The 2027 listing offers departures in July, August, and October, with a EUR 3,890 sharing price [2]. It also lists a EUR 290 single supplement.
Transport is the main cost that the reported entrance figure does not answer. Kundalila Falls lies east of the Great North Road near Kanona [6]. Your total therefore depends on where your route starts, the vehicle you use, fuel, and whether a driver waits while you visit.
Do not assume a low gate fee means a low total trip price. A remote waterfall can cost more to reach than to enter. Ask for the full route plan, not only the attraction fee.
Confirm the camping charge before travelling. One traveller reported US$15 for entry and cited an extra US$15 per person per night in a guidebook, but the on-site camping charge was unclear [3]. That is a good reason to request a current written rate.
Ask whether the site supplies a tent, mattress, cooking equipment, firewood, and water. The available travel account describes a basic camping area, so bring the gear your quote does not include [3].
SafariFind connects travellers with verified tour operators and authentic traveller reviews. Use those details to compare a short waterfall trip with a wider Zambia itinerary. A good quote should show the route, dates, group size, inclusions, exclusions, and payment terms.
Look for a package that matches your comfort level. A camper may value a simple site near the natural pool. Another traveller may prefer a guided route with meals and planned transfers. Neither choice is wrong, but the prices should never be compared without checking what each one includes.
Read the 2027 Kalambo Falls package guide if you want to compare Kundalila with another Zambia waterfall trip.
The available 2027 walking safari dates fall in July, August, and October [2]. Those dates are useful planning markers for travellers seeking a scheduled walking trip. A private visit needs its own access check, road plan, and weather review before departure.
Book early for a fixed group departure. The listed walking safari accepts four to eight participants, so the group limit can affect availability [2]. For a private trip, request the quote several months ahead and ask the operator to confirm every 2027 rate.
Kundalila Falls works best as a focused waterfall stop, while a walking safari works as a full travel plan. The reported US$15 entry cost is far below the EUR 3,890 walking safari price because the two options cover different lengths, services, and levels of support.
Kundalila Falls is a good fit for travellers who already have a vehicle and want to see the Kaombe River drop. The natural pool and nearby camping site create a simple outdoor plan [6]. This choice gives you more control over your route, meals, and overnight stay.
The weak point is the need for careful planning. You must confirm the access fee, camping charge, road conditions, and supplies. A local operator can help fill those gaps, especially if you do not know the area.
A 15-day walking safari is better for travellers who want a planned group trip. The listed 2027 departures run from 14 to 28 July, 17 to 31 August, and 20 October to 3 November [2]. The package requires four participants and allows eight.
The price is high compared with a waterfall entrance fee, but the trip covers a much wider experience. Ask the operator to confirm the exact list of included services before booking. The single supplement also matters if you do not want to share [2].
Travellers building a longer Zambia holiday can also review a 5-day Lower Zambezi safari itinerary for 2027. That route answers a different need from a Central Province waterfall stop, but it can help you set expectations for a wider safari budget.
A Livingstone day trip price guide for 2027 is useful if your wider holiday begins near Victoria Falls. Do not treat those trips as Kundalila Falls prices. Use them only to compare the cost of guided day travel in Zambia.
Compare verified Zambia tour operators and authentic reviews when you need help choosing between a self-drive stop and a guided package.
A basic Kundalila Falls visit is reported at US$15 per person in 2027 planning information. Camping may add US$15 per person per night. A 15-day Zambia walking safari that includes the falls is listed at EUR 3,890 per person sharing, with a EUR 290 single supplement [2][3].
The reported Kundalila Falls entrance fee is US$15 per person. A travel account describes that amount on a sign at the falls. The account does not establish a confirmed official 2027 tariff, so ask for the current rate before travelling [3].
Camping at Kundalila Falls is cited at US$15 per person per night in a guidebook mentioned by one traveller. The same account says the camping price was unclear on site. Use US$15 as a planning figure and confirm the current charge in writing [3].

SafariFind helps travellers compare verified tour operators, packages, and authentic reviews. Use the marketplace to request a written quote for transport, entry, camping, guiding, and any wider Zambia itinerary. Confirm the final 2027 price before paying.
A Kundalila Falls package in 2027 can cost about US$15 for entry, about US$30 for entry and one reported camping night, or EUR 3,890 for a 15-day walking safari. The right figure depends on the trip you want. A self-drive traveller needs to focus on access, fuel, food, camping, and road planning. A walking-safari guest needs to check dates, group size, inclusions, and the single supplement.
Kundalila Falls rewards careful planning because the waterfall fee is simple, while reaching and staying there may take more work. Start with a written quote. Compare it with other Zambia routes, then check real traveller reviews before you commit.
Compare verified safari packages on SafariFind and request a 2027 quote that matches your dates and budget. In 2026, early planning gives you time to check availability before your Kundalila Falls trip.

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."
"Tongesai and his team provided a wonderful itinerary on our recent trip to Victoria Falls with day trips to Zambia and Botswana. They were a thoughtful and knowledgeable team who took great care to tailor the trip to our family's needs."
"Our guide Tongesai was incredibly respectful, punctual, and friendly. He also helped us with transfers to and from the airport. The experience of visiting Victoria Falls on the Zambia side was amazing. The scenery is wonderful!!!"
"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."
"Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours and Tongesai Mutematsaka come with my highest recommendation!! Our trip to Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana was everything I could have dreamed of. Tongesai was easy to work with, and always communicated back with me very quickly. I told him what I wanted and he personalized our experience within our budget. He was very flexible when I wanted to make any changes. He took care of every detail so I didn't have to. It was fabulous!! I highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed."
