Pangolin conservation in Burundi faces a major evidence gap: the supplied research does not confirm national population estimates, species records or Burundi-specific programmes. Globally, all eight pangolin species are declining and threatened by poaching, illegal trade and habitat pressure.

One four-day budget trip to Kruger starts at ZAR 11,700 per person in 2027. [1]
Kruger National Park safari costs in 2027 start at ZAR 11,700 per person for a listed four-day budget trip. A three-day classic safari costs ZAR 19,300 per person sharing, while four-day camping packages start at ZAR 13,995. Use trip length, room type, meals, transport, and activities to set your budget before you book.
Kruger National Park Safari Costs 2027: Budget by Trip Length depend on the number of nights, the room type, and the service level. A listed four-day budget itinerary starts at ZAR 11,700 per person. [1] A three-day classic safari costs ZAR 19,300 per person sharing. [2] These prices show why a longer trip does not always use a simple daily rate.
Kruger National Park is a flexible safari choice because travelers can compare camping, budget lodging, classic tours, and private stays. Each option may include different meals, vehicles, guided drives, park services, and excursions. Therefore, compare the full itinerary instead of comparing the headline price alone.
Kruger National Park safari pricing is shaped by six main factors: accommodation, trip length, vehicle choice, guided activities, meals, and excursions. [1] A low-cost package may use camping or simple rooms. A higher-cost package may add private transport, upgraded rooms, or more guided time.
The four-day budget starting point is useful for early planning. However, it is not a fixed price for every departure. The same number of days can cost more when you choose a single room, private travel, or extra activities.
A three-day safari gives you a short introduction to the park. The 2027 classic rate is ZAR 19,300 per person sharing in a twin room. [2] A single-room guest pays ZAR 20,400. [2] A child under 12 sharing has a listed rate of ZAR 9,650. [2]
A four-day trip creates another useful comparison point. The classic camping safari starts at ZAR 13,995. [3] A four-day Kruger Park and Panorama Adventure Safari also starts at ZAR 11,700. [3] The different prices reflect different package designs, not simply the extra day.
Families should check child rules, room sharing, and meal plans before paying a deposit. Couples should check whether a listed rate applies per person sharing or per single room. Solo travelers should look closely at single supplements.
Compare 2027 Kruger safari operators and package types before choosing a trip that matches your budget.
A Kruger safari costs from ZAR 11,700 for a listed four-day budget trip in 2027. A three-day classic safari costs ZAR 19,300 per person sharing. [1][2] Four-day camping packages start at ZAR 13,995. [3] Seven- and ten-day trips require a full quote because the supplied rates differ by itinerary and accommodation.
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Budget Kruger itinerary | From ZAR 11,700 [1] | 4 days | Not supplied | Travelers seeking the lowest listed starting price |
| Kruger Park and Panorama Adventure Safari | From ZAR 11,700 [3] | 4 days | Not supplied | Travelers combining safari and scenic touring |
| Classic Kruger Park camping safari | From ZAR 13,995 [3] | 4 days | Not supplied | Campers and value-focused travelers |
| Classic Kruger Park safari | ZAR 19,300 sharing [2] | 3 days | Not supplied | Travelers wanting classic lodging and guided service |
| Classic Kruger Park single room | ZAR 20,400 [2] | 3 days | Not supplied | Solo guests or private-room travelers |
The three-day classic safari has a higher listed price than some four-day budget trips. That difference shows the value of checking inclusions. The classic rate is ZAR 19,300 per person sharing in 2027, while one four-day budget listing starts at ZAR 11,700. [1][2] A camping trip starts at ZAR 13,995. [3]
Accommodation is one clear reason for this spread. Camping may reduce the room cost, while a classic package may include a different level of lodging and service. The source listings do not give one standard inclusion list for every package. Ask for a written breakdown before you compare offers.
Seven-day and ten-day Kruger itineraries need a more detailed budget. Longer trips add nights, meals, drives, and transport days. They may also use different accommodation areas. A separate 2027 planning guide can help you map route ideas, daily costs, and trip structure before requesting quotes.
A June–August 2026 and 2027 package is listed at about USD 3,885 per person sharing for a family of four. Additional flight costs are excluded. [6] This figure is not a universal seven-day or ten-day price. It is a specific package example, so treat it as a premium comparison point.
Review a 7-day Kruger safari itinerary and 2027 cost plan when a short visit does not provide enough time.
Luxury Kruger stays exceed ZAR 56,000, according to the supplied research summary. [1] Luxury prices can include stronger service, upgraded accommodation, private guiding, and a more tailored schedule. The final quote still depends on the operator and the selected lodge.
Set your budget in three layers:
Compare a 10-day South Africa safari budget if you want to add other regions to Kruger.
A complete Kruger safari budget includes more than the package price. Start with accommodation and meals, then check guided drives, vehicle type, transfers, park services, and excursions. [1] A written quote helps you see which costs are included and which costs remain outside the advertised rate.
Kruger National Park package descriptions can use different terms for similar services. One package may include transport from a meeting point. Another may require you to arrange flights or a transfer separately. The family package priced near USD 3,885 per person sharing excludes additional flight costs. [6]
Use this simple planning order:
Compare like with like. A three-day classic safari should not be compared with a four-day camping safari without checking the room type and inclusions. The classic 2027 rate is ZAR 19,300 sharing and ZAR 20,400 for a single room. [2] The camping listing starts at ZAR 13,995 for four days. [3]
Ask every operator for the same details. Request the number of nights, room type, meal plan, vehicle style, guide arrangement, and transfer plan. This process makes a low headline price easier to assess.
The supplied 2027 rate examples do not provide a complete month-by-month seasonal calendar. One listed package covers June–August 2026 and 2027. [6] Therefore, ask operators for the exact 2027 dates and rate conditions before you assume a month is cheaper.
August 2026 is a useful time to plan a 2027 safari. You can compare package structures early, check room availability, and request clear quotes. Prices and availability can change, so confirm the final amount in writing.
South Africa offers more than one safari region. Travelers who want a wider route can review the Johannesburg safari packages for 2027 and compare how a city start affects transfers and trip design.
Kruger National Park is not the only South African option. SafariFind also lists destination information for Phinda Private Game Reserve, Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve, and Mapungubwe National Park. These pages help you compare different routes, landscapes, and trip styles.
Keep other search ideas separate from this budget. Yala National Park is in Sri Lanka, while Lake Bogoria and Simien Mountains National Park are in other African destinations. They should not be used as price comparisons for a Kruger itinerary.
Kruger National Park is the clearest choice for travelers focused on a classic South Africa safari budget. It has the widest set of price examples in the supplied 2027 research, from a four-day budget listing at ZAR 11,700 to luxury stays above ZAR 56,000. [1] Other reserves suit different routes and travel styles.
South Africa is best for safari travelers who want choice. Kruger works well for short and long itineraries. Private reserves can suit guests who want a more tailored stay. Coastal and regional reserves can also fit a wider holiday plan.
SafariFind destination pages include Tembe Elephant Park, iSimangaliso Wetland Park, and uMkhuze Game Reserve. They can help travelers understand which places fit a short add-on or a longer South Africa itinerary.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic traveler reviews. Use the marketplace to compare package details, operator profiles, and available trip lengths. A review can add useful context, but the written itinerary should remain your main price check.
Getting there depends on the selected package and meeting point. The supplied sources confirm that some package prices exclude flights. [6] Ask whether airport transfers, road transport, and return arrangements appear in the quote.
Travelers adding cities can also review Durban or the Durban beach holiday packages for 2027. A city-and-safari plan may change both the total days and the transfer budget.
Keep the decision simple. Pick the trip length first. Then compare accommodation, inclusions, and transport. Finally, check the cancellation terms and the final 2027 quote.
A safari in South Africa costs from ZAR 11,700 per person for a listed four-day budget Kruger itinerary in 2027. [1] Classic, single-room, family, and luxury options cost more. The final price depends on accommodation, meals, transport, guided activities, and excursions.
A four-day Kruger National Park safari starts at ZAR 11,700 per person in one 2027 budget listing. [1] A four-day classic camping safari starts at ZAR 13,995. [3] Compare inclusions carefully because these are different package types.
A three-day classic Kruger safari costs ZAR 19,300 per person sharing in 2027. A single-room rate is ZAR 20,400, while a child under 12 sharing has a listed rate of ZAR 9,650. [2]
Camping can have a lower listed starting price than classic lodging. A four-day classic camping safari starts at ZAR 13,995, while a three-day classic sharing safari costs ZAR 19,300. [2][3] The packages may include different services, so compare the full itinerary.
Check the duration, room type, meal plan, vehicle, guided activities, excursions, transfers, and flight exclusions. Safari pricing changes with these factors. [1] Ask for a written 2027 quote that shows every included and excluded cost.

"Communications with Mack via email were swift and comprehensible. We were picked up at the airport on arrival by our guide, Thomas, who would be with us for the whole week. We signed up for a budget camping safari, and we had a great time! The campsites were nicer than I thought they would be, and the Kiliholidays team did a great job of taking care of us the whole trip. Thomas was very accommodating, and our 'stomach engineer' did a fantastic job the whole trip. My partner and I were very impressed by the quality of the food. Thomas was an incredible driver; a few times we had to stop and help other drivers who were stuck! This was my second visit to East Africa, and I will definitely book with Kiliholidays for my third trip :) A few tips for other travelers: The sleeping mattress was a bit thin for me (my partner had no trouble!), but I found that sleeping on my back instead of my side helped. If you have sensitive hips, I'd recommend bringing something to use as a cushion, or possibly arranging for an extra mattress. The tent was high-quality and the sleeping bags were warm. We stayed in Mto wa Mbu a few nights and it was quite hot there. We brought sleeping sacks (very thin) and used those instead. Bring LOTS of insect repellent and use it often (biting flies in the daytime, mosquitoes at night). Same with hand sanitizer (public campsite toilets don't usually have soap). Granola bars are a good idea, too, if you like to snack between meals. There's not a lot of access to ice, so if you like an evening adult-beverage, just ask your guide to stop before you leave Arusha to pick up some wine. We picked up a 5-liter box of South African wine for about 25euros and it was very convenient (bring your own cups!)."

"This is the second time I have traveled with my family with GoExplore. The first time was an amazing Uganda experience (already reviewed) and this second experience with my husband to Kenya was equally amazing. Brian organized organized both tours for me and tailored them according to my wishes. As this is still the time of unsure flights and Covid difficulties, he was easily able to adapt to some changes with travel that were beyond our control. GoExplore is a boutique business that is very personalized and offers you the equal and more than a large corporate operator. The price point is compatible with group tours but you will have your own personal driver and guide for yourself and there is nothing to compare with this luxury. Because of that, you will also be able to adapt your days schedule if you wish according what you want and not what is a groups plan. We were completely happy and satisfied with all aspects of our travel (on both trips). Brian knows the safari tour industry and is constantly working to improve the business, his knowledge about lodges, the parks, restaurants and all minute aspects of the tour. He will be able to personally attest to the quality of whatever product he is recommending to you. Sammi was our driver in Kenya and we can only say that he was amazing. He knew more about wildlife (and every birds name and details) than an encyclopedia, was an amazingly adept driver in sometimes rough conditions (traffic, rough park roads, etc.) and looked out for our interests. While respecting the animals, he went above and beyond trying to make sure we saw every different animal we could. We appreciated that he obviously respected and cared about the animals we were seeing. (Not all safari drivers do and will do anything to try to get to see something up close, even while encroaching too much on their space.) We had a minor vehicle difficulty and Sammi made sure that everything went smoothly and we didn't miss a minute of our trip or schedule. He is quite an asset to GoExplore. Sammi only drives on Kenya trips but if you go to Uganda, I highly recommend Moses who was equally great. Overall, the trip was an unforgettable trip of a lifetime. If you haven't gone on a safari before, you should trip to put this on your life plan. There is nothing like it and when you plan it, you want a safari operator that will listen to your needs, wants, and budget and tailor it to fit you. GoExplore will do that in a personal way. Our lodges that Brian picked were magical and the food was outstanding. There was nothing about our trip that we would have changed. I highly recommend GoExplore if you want to travel to any of the countries they operate in. If not those countries, then reconsider them over the more commercialized ones (such as South Africa) and you won't be disappointed."

"We just finished a 2-week tour of South Africa with extension to Victoria Falls and the Monde Village Cultural Experience was one of the highlights of the entire trip. It is a must-do for anyone in the area. Tongesai (our guide) was very personable and worked with us to customize the experience. He was flexible and took time to explain many things that aren't part of the "regular tour". We had great conversations throughout the tour. He ended up dropping us off so late (8:30pm), his wife had to call him twice. He took a few pictures with us so he had alibi. :) Mr Ncube (our village host) and his family were welcoming and excited to show us their way of life. Mr Ncube's explanations of his culture, family structure, farming struggles, and discussions on many topics showed us a simple way of life, much different than our modern American ways, but it made so much sense. People here fight hard to live but they do it with a smile. They may be poor, but not in spirit. We asked many questions and received questions ourselves. It was as if I was visiting an uncle living in a rural part of a third-world country. This family made us felt at home. We wish we had more time to sit under the summer kitchen during a raining day, sharing food and chatting with these folks. We wish we could sit in the winter kitchen to hear him teach his children and grandchildren. Needless to say, we spent 4+ hrs at this experience and wanted more. I am now back to "civilization" in a nice Qatari hotel, but I kept thinking about my time in the simple Monde Village. What a breath of fresh air that was. I brought some extra clothes to give, but ended up giving as much as I could live without for the rest of my trip. A pair of sandals doesn't mean much to me, but it means a lot to people in these villages. This is 30+ hrs flight from home so it is a one-time chance to help; I had to make the best of it. If I can come back to this area, I will definitely bring more people to share in this amazing experience. I encourage all who come to Victoria Falls to add this cultural experience to their itinerary."

"Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours has proved to be excellent yet again as this is now the third time, we have used them and a much-needed break after almost 3 years with the Covid pandemic. Tongesai is extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable and does everything to make your trip a memorable experience. Compared to local larger companies, Tongesai’s individual package rates are more reasonable and come with a customized touch. We felt that our holiday with Tongesai was much better and suited us more so than if we had booked through a larger company. His individual tailoring, personal involvement and attention to detail pays off in the smooth running of your trip. Our visits to the Victoria Falls, both sides from Zimbabwe and Zambia were magnificent and never cease to amaze us. On this trip Tongesai arranged for a private sunset cruise on the Zambezi just for our family of four instead of on the larger vessels, which was a very pleasant alternative. The boat trip in Chobe is magical and a must if you venture into Botswana. Wildlife was in abundance, including lion, elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, puku, kudu, bushbuck, waterbuck, impala, gemsbok, steenbok, sable and roan antelope, etc. We even saw a relative of Cecil, the famous black-maned lion, ‘once a true king of Hwange National Park’. I have no hesitation in recommending the company for arranging tours in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana - we will definitely be seeing him again. He is currently setting up arrangements with colleagues in Kruger National Park to venture into South Africa and I wish him every success with that."
