<p>On your arrival at Hoedspruit Airport you will be met and then a private transfer to Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge. It is a 45 minute drive the the Balule Reserve and your safari starts once you enter the reserve gate with a 7 km game drive through the reserve to Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge. After enjoying a non-alcoholic welcome drink on arrival and a briefing on the lodge program, time to settle into your rooms then enjoy a light lunch looking out over the reserve.<br>Late afternoon is "safari time" Meet your ranger and board an open game tracking vehicle to explore the African Bush looking for some of the many species that make this area home. The ranger will point out and explain the many animals found, and hopefully you will be lucky enough to see the elusive cats. Just before sunset the ranger will stop and sun-downers accompanied with tasty snacks are enjoyed in the bush and time to stretch your legs. The drive back to the lodge will be a night drive using spot lights to look for the elusive nocturnal animals. Once back at the lodge meet fellow guests at the bar area and dinner is served in a traditional "boma".</p>

<p>You will receive an early wake-up call, although you won’t beat the birds out of bed, and will have time for a cup of tea or coffee, muffins or biscotti before heading out on your game drive. Your guides will share their knowledge of not only the mammals and birds but also reptiles, insects, flowers and trees. Midway through your game drive, your guide will stop for a tea or coffee break before returning to the lodge. Once back at the lodge, brunch will be served. Brunch is usually served between 10:00am and 10:30am depending on the length of the morning drive. After brunch there is time freshen up then enjoy the lodge surroundings. Spend time in or around the swimming pool or on one of the deck chairs and wait and see which animals or birds come to the waterhole or relax with a book in your room and have a siesta. At 2:00 pm a light lunch is served for you to enjoy while looking out over the waterhole and then get ready for the afternoon game drive.<br>Late afternoon is "safari time" meet your ranger again and depart on the afternoon/evening game drive, stop in the bush for sun-downers watching the splendor of the African sun setting. Drinks are accompanied by snacks and some South African specialties. After the sun set stop the drive is continued with the aid of spot lights looking for any animals not yet spotted and any nocturnal animals. Returning after your adventure to the lodge where the chef will be waiting with a delicious dinner under the African sky.</p>

<p>Another early morning wake-up call and a welcome cup of hot coffee and biscotti before embarking on the morning game drive with your ranger. Midway through your game drive, your guide will stop for a tea or coffee break before returning to the lodge. Once back at the lodge, brunch will be ready for you. After brunch freshen up and check out and we will meet you the lodge at 11:30 am and be transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Cape Town</p>
