Pangolin conservation in Burundi faces a major evidence gap: the supplied research does not confirm national population estimates, species records or Burundi-specific programmes. Globally, all eight pangolin species are declining and threatened by poaching, illegal trade and habitat pressure.

A 3-day Zimbabwe safari costs about US$900 to US$3,000 per person in 2027, based on published daily rates and package prices. Budget trips cost about US$750–US$1,050, while luxury trips can reach US$2,100–US$3,000 or more. Compare verified SafariFind packages before booking, and confirm the travel season, park, flights, and inclusions with your operator.
Opening fact: Zimbabwe safari prices range from US$900 for a 3-day trip to much higher luxury rates, while some 10-day tours reach US$8,000. [3]
A 3-day Zimbabwe safari cost guide explains what you pay for a short wildlife trip in Zimbabwe during 2027. It covers accommodation, meals, transport, game drives, park fees, guide services, and optional activities. The guide also helps you compare budget, mid-range, and luxury safari packages before you request a quote.
Quick answer: A 3-day Zimbabwe safari costs about US$900 at the lower end. Published daily rates place budget trips near US$750–US$1,050, mid-range trips near US$1,050–US$1,650, and luxury trips near US$2,100–US$3,000 or more. Your final quote depends on accommodation, park access, transport, and included activities.
Zimbabwe is known for guided wildlife drives, large elephant populations, walking safari options, and strong links between parks and Victoria Falls. A short trip often focuses on one park instead of several regions. That choice reduces road time and lets you spend more hours in the safari vehicle.
Hwange National Park is a common choice for a first Zimbabwe safari. It offers a practical base for game drives and can pair with Victoria Falls. For route ideas, see the Hwange National Park 2027 cost and timing guide.
A three-day safari usually means two nights at a lodge, camp, or hotel. Day one covers arrival and an afternoon drive. Day two normally includes a longer morning drive and another afternoon activity. Day three includes a final drive before departure, depending on the transfer schedule.
Best for: A 3-day Zimbabwe safari is best for travelers with limited time, visitors adding wildlife to a Victoria Falls holiday, and first-time safari guests who want a focused park stay. It is not enough time for a broad Zimbabwe circuit with several distant parks.
Compare 3-day Zimbabwe safari packages and request quotes from verified operators to match your budget with the right park and lodge style.
A 3-day Zimbabwe safari costs US$900–US$3,000 per person in 2027 for many realistic package styles. Budget daily prices range from US$250 to US$350. Mid-range daily prices range from US$350 to US$550. Luxury daily prices start around US$700 and can exceed US$1,000. [8]
Budget Zimbabwe safaris cost about US$250–US$350 per person per day. [8] A three-day trip at this level can total US$750–US$1,050 before excluded flights, drinks, tips, and personal costs. Lower advertised package prices may start near US$900 for three days. [3]
Budget accommodation usually means a simple lodge, tented camp, or shared arrangement. The package may use shared game drives and road transfers. Ask whether the listed price includes park entrance fees, meals, airport transfers, and two nights of lodging.
Mid-range Zimbabwe safaris cost about US$350–US$550 per person per day. [8] A three-day trip therefore costs about US$1,050–US$1,650. This level often offers a more comfortable lodge, better room facilities, shared or small-group drives, and a more flexible daily plan.
TourRadar lists Zimbabwe safari costs between US$175 and US$500 per person per day. Its standard package description includes lodging, meals, game drives, park entrance fees, and guide services. [5] The lower rate may reflect a simple trip or a shared service, so compare each line item carefully.
Luxury Zimbabwe safaris cost about US$700–US$1,000 or more per person per day. [8] A three-day luxury stay can therefore cost US$2,100–US$3,000 or more. Private vehicles, premium camps, private guides, internal flights, and exclusive activities can raise the total.
Longer premium itineraries show why prices vary so widely. Eclipse Travel lists a Zimbabwe safari departing in February 2027 from US$7,820 per person. [6] That price is not a direct three-day comparison, but it confirms that high-end 2027 itineraries can sit far above short budget trips.

SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic traveler reviews. Compare the package price, duration, accommodation, and rating instead of choosing only the lowest headline cost.
Compare 3-day Zimbabwe safari packages under US$1,500 if your priority is a clear budget and strong value.
The largest Zimbabwe safari cost differences come from accommodation, transport, activities, and group size. Two trips that visit the same park can have very different prices because one uses shared road transfers and the other uses a private vehicle or charter flight.
Lodge type is often the first major price factor. A basic camp can lower the total, while a private safari lodge adds comfort and staff service. Confirm whether meals cover breakfast only, full board, or meals during game-drive days.
A package that includes lodging and meals may look more expensive at first. However, it can offer better value than a cheaper package that adds food and transfers later. Read the inclusions before comparing two advertised prices.
Standard Zimbabwe safari packages commonly include park entrance fees, guided game drives, lodging, meals, and guide services. [5] Each package still needs a careful check. Some operators include every scheduled drive, while others charge extra for night drives, walking safaris, or private vehicles.
Hwange night drives are a special example. They can reveal animals that stay hidden during daylight, but the activity may not form part of a basic three-day plan. Compare Hwange night drive packages for 2027 if this experience matters to you.
Road transfers can cost less than private air transfers, but they take more time. A short safari needs a clear arrival plan because a long transfer can reduce your first or final game drive. Ask for the transfer route, drive time, vehicle type, and airport pickup details.
Victoria Falls and Hwange are often combined in southern Africa itineraries. TourRadar lists a four-day Victoria Falls and Hwange package at about US$999. [5] This example is longer than three days, so use it as a comparison point, not as a guaranteed 2027 rate.
Tips are usually separate from the package price. One listed Zimbabwe trip guide recommends US$2–US$3 per person per day for local guides and drivers, and the same amount for a safari guide or driver. [1] Service providers and waiters may receive 10%–15% of the bill. [1]
Start by choosing one main destination, then compare three-day packages with matching inclusions. A focused route gives you more wildlife time and makes the price easier to understand. Share your dates, group size, room needs, and preferred activity before asking operators for a final quote.
Hwange focus: Choose Hwange when you want a classic national park stay with game drives and a simple Victoria Falls connection. Review the Hwange safari packages and 2027 cost details before selecting a lodge.
Victoria Falls add-on: Choose this plan when your main trip already includes the falls. A short safari can add wildlife without creating a long national park circuit. Keep the transfer schedule visible, especially when you have a fixed flight home.
Southern route: Chiredzi and other destinations may suit a longer route, but a three-day safari should avoid too many remote stops. Parks and regions such as Kazuma Pan National Park, Ngamo Plains, and Mavuradonha Wilderness need careful route planning.
Shared safaris offer a lower price and a social setting. Private safaris offer more control over departure times, photo stops, and vehicle space. A mid-range shared trip often gives the best balance for travelers who want comfort without a luxury budget.
Families should ask about child ages, room layouts, and drive times. Photographers should ask about window seats, vehicle limits, and private-drive rates. Every traveler should ask what happens if a flight or transfer arrives late.
SafariFind lets you compare safari packages and tour operators in one marketplace. Read authentic reviews, check current ratings, and request quotes from verified operators. A clear quote should show the total price, currency, dates, group size, and excluded costs.

A standard Zimbabwe safari package commonly includes lodging, meals, game drives, park entrance fees, and guide services. [5] Always confirm the number of drives, transfer arrangements, room type, and excluded costs in writing before you pay.
You can combine Victoria Falls and Hwange in a short itinerary, but the schedule needs careful planning. A listed four-day Victoria Falls and Hwange package costs about US$999. [5] A three-day route may reduce wildlife time because transfers take part of the trip.
Luxury Zimbabwe safaris cost about US$700–US$1,000 or more per person per day. [8] They suit travelers who value private vehicles, premium lodges, flexible schedules, and added service. Compare the extra inclusions instead of judging luxury only by the room price.

"Cultural Vibes Travel and Tours has proved to be excellent yet again as this is now the third time, we have used them and a much-needed break after almost 3 years with the Covid pandemic. Tongesai is extremely reliable, professional, knowledgeable and does everything to make your trip a memorable experience. Compared to local larger companies, Tongesai’s individual package rates are more reasonable and come with a customized touch. We felt that our holiday with Tongesai was much better and suited us more so than if we had booked through a larger company. His individual tailoring, personal involvement and attention to detail pays off in the smooth running of your trip. Our visits to the Victoria Falls, both sides from Zimbabwe and Zambia were magnificent and never cease to amaze us. On this trip Tongesai arranged for a private sunset cruise on the Zambezi just for our family of four instead of on the larger vessels, which was a very pleasant alternative. The boat trip in Chobe is magical and a must if you venture into Botswana. Wildlife was in abundance, including lion, elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, puku, kudu, bushbuck, waterbuck, impala, gemsbok, steenbok, sable and roan antelope, etc. We even saw a relative of Cecil, the famous black-maned lion, ‘once a true king of Hwange National Park’. I have no hesitation in recommending the company for arranging tours in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana - we will definitely be seeing him again. He is currently setting up arrangements with colleagues in Kruger National Park to venture into South Africa and I wish him every success with that."

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"My travel companions and I chose the 4 day experience. Technically it is really a 3 day experience, because the last day they provide airport transportation. I feel they go above and beyond in making sure they are providing their customers with a safe, exciting and exceptional experience. Gari was our driver/guide in Zimbabwe, and was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Gari either made sure we were where we needed to be or provided his own guide trip to the Victoria Falls. He even provided the rain gear, which is most necessary. Gari and his "boss" Mr T. went above and beyond when Delta postponed our flight by a day, by helping to make sure that the connecting airline would change our reservation. They then made sure we got to the airport on time, a day later. They are always willing to provide any additional things that you would like to see and do. If you looking for a guided tour company, this is the one to use, and one that I would have no hesitation in using again."

"First, Tongesai Mtematsaka was excellent with communications and service. We couldn’t have asked for better. My questions via email were promptly answered. His English was excellent, and better. He was always on time in meeting us, coming and going. Our two hour trips from VIc Falls to the sable sands lodge, and then from the lodge to the Vic Falls airport were a highlight to our entire Africa trip. My wife and I will be discussing various aspects from the discussions with Tongesai for some time to come. By patiently answering my many questions he educated my wife and I about Zimbabwe and the region - culture, practices and assets of the people, typical family life, economy, weather, etc., and possibilities and trends into the future - all believable and detailed. The staff and facilities at the sable sands lodge were all excellent, beginning with Michelle’s clear instructions and cautions. She was a delight. We were asked if we wanted to take a charming hut as close as we could get to the marvelous watering hole there and got it. Incredibly we were greeted by a dust-cloud from a herd of maybe 100 Cape buffalo running to the water - unbelievable! The meals prepared by So and Derik were really good, throughout. MC, our drive guide was excellent and very accommodating to all the guests in the comfortable and safe-feeling, open 4x4. We met some nice co-guests. We saw so many animals on our safari that I will not attempt to recall here. I would just say that the many watering holes in the Hwange park were impressive, As an environmentalist myself I was very impressed with the solar powered system for exploiting the aquifers, and the foresight of the authorities in developing and maintains these. I know the history going back to the 1920’s, but if there wasn’t maintainence and upgrade the animals could not continue, especially with drought effects of climate change. Finally, I must comment on the fact that our first night in our hut was spent listening to the rumblings of the elephant just outside out hut. In the morning the tracks outside our hut showed how close our visitor was. We knew then that Michelle’s cautions were serious. But then more, the second night we had a lioness spend the night outside our hut, perhaps roaring a mating call. At first light MC came by with the truck and asked if we wanted to see the lion. I shot out with my camera. What an experience!! We hope our parting tip to the group of 16 people providing excellent service was meaningful. I will certainly recommend this trip to anyone who will hear me. What a privilege!!!"

"We booked our Zimbabwe trip with Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours following a recommendation from Nhongo Safaris in South Africa. Tongesai is a great communicator, and the booking process was quick, easy, and well organized. We were happy with the quote provided and were able to easily pay online. Tongesai was waiting for us at Victoria Falls Airport to take us to our accommodation. He has arranged an amazing whirlwind 48 hour visit, that was packed with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, Morning Game drive, he accompanied us on an amazing walk of the Victoria falls and arranged an African experience dinner in the evening. It was so memorable, and everything we wanted! Overall, it was an fantastic trip, with a great guide, and we would highly recommend it for anyone considering a trip to Victoria Falls. For our next visit, we will definitely be reaching out to Tongesai and thoroughly recommend to all our friends."
