Depart Nairobi early morning and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya's most spectacular wildlife reserves. The landscape gradually transforms from cultivated highlands to arid savanna as you approach the park. Upon arrival, check into your comfortable tented camp and enjoy your first game drive in the late afternoon, searching for the park's famous large elephant herds.
