The 9 Days Northern Circuit Route is the longest, newest, and one of the most successful routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. This route offers the best acclimatization profile of all Kilimanjaro routes, resulting in one of the highest summit success rates.
Starting on the western side of the mountain, the Northern Circuit traverses the remote northern slopes, providing breathtaking 360-degree views, fewer crowds, and a unique wilderness experience. Trekkers pass through rainforest, heathland, moorland, alpine desert, and arctic summit zones before reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa.
This route is ideal for climbers seeking a gradual ascent, excellent acclimatization, and the most scenic Kilimanjaro experience.

After breakfast, drive to Londorossi Gate for registration and permit formalities.
Continue to the trailhead and begin your trek through the lush rainforest zone.
The forest is home to colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy a gentle hike before arriving at Mti Mkubwa Camp.
