7-Day Tarangire/Ngorongoro/Serengeti/Manyara Road Safari

You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and driven to Tarangire National Park. Here, you will enjoy your first game drive in a landscape shaped by ancient baobab trees and home to elephant, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle, giraffe, lion, oryx, and diverse birdlife.

Begin the day with a morning game drive, exploring Tarangire’s varied habitats and watching for wildlife including elephants, raptors, and possibly rare wild dogs. After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for the Ngorongoro highlands. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge located on the crater rim, offering sweeping views of the volcanic basin 2,000 feet below.

Spend a full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater floor, a wildlife-rich haven home to black rhino, lion, hyena, wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, elephants, ostrich, and flamingos on Lake Magadi. After your full-day safari with a picnic lunch, return to your lodge for views from your private terrace, excellent meals, and cultural interactions with the Maasai.

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti Plain, renowned for its vast grasslands and exceptional wildlife viewing. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious lunch at your lodge before heading out for your first Serengeti game drive. Watch for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and countless antelopes and birds across the rolling plains.

Spend a full day exploring prime wildlife areas of the Serengeti. Visit hippo pools in the Seronera Valley, forests where leopards and colobus monkeys reside, kopjes where lions rest, and rivers where large animals gather.

Begin your day with a final Serengeti game drive before departing to Lake Manyara. Upon arrival, you will explore this small but incredibly diverse park known for flamingos, tree-climbing lions, elephants, monkeys, and abundant bird species.

After breakfast, depart from Lake Manyara and drive to Arusha. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before you are transferred to the airport for your onward flight home, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
