This is a truly special safari designed to focus on the Serengeti and follow the path of the Great Migration, known for its high density of big cats. The itinerary is thoughtfully crafted to conclude in one of the most remote corners of the Serengeti, allowing you to fly directly to your next destination from the heart of the wilderness. However, if you prefer, we can customize the tour to return to Arusha by land instead.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 AM and introduce you to your guide before setting off on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its majestic, ancient baobab trees, Tarangire is home to the largest elephant population in Tanzania. You’ll have the chance to see these gentle giants up close and observe their fascinating social interactions.
As we embark on a game drive through the park, we’ll follow recent wildlife sightings to maximize your chances of spotting a variety of animals. Tarangire is teeming with herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. While predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are more elusive, sightings are possible with a bit of luck and patience. Around midday, we’ll stop at a scenic riverside picnic site to enjoy lunch surrounded by nature. Keep an eye out for curious monkeys and cheeky baboons. After lunch, we’ll continue exploring the park with an afternoon game drive before exiting.
