About this safari
The 7 Days Mara River Crossing Safari is one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife adventures, designed to give you the best opportunity to witness the world-famous Great Wildebeest Migration and the dramatic Mara River crossings in the northern region of Serengeti National Park.
Every year between July and October, hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles move northward in search of fresh grazing lands. As they reach the Mara River, they face one of nature’s greatest challenges—crossing crocodile-filled waters while predators wait nearby.
This safari also includes visits to Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, offering exceptional wildlife viewing and the chance to see the Big Five.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park.
Enjoy a full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most beautiful parks, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds.
Look out for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species.
Later, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
