About this safari
Embark on an unforgettable adventure to the summit of Africa’s highest mountain on this 7-Day Kilimanjaro Climb via the Lemosho Route. Known as one of the most scenic and rewarding routes on Mount Kilimanjaro, the Lemosho Route offers breathtaking landscapes, excellent acclimatization opportunities, and a quieter trekking experience compared to some of the more crowded trails.
Your journey begins through the lush rainforest on the western slopes of Kilimanjaro before ascending through diverse ecosystems, including heath and moorland, alpine desert, and the spectacular high-altitude zone. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of glaciers, volcanic formations, and the surrounding Tanzanian landscapes.
The route gradually approaches the summit through the Southern Circuit, allowing your body more time to adjust to the altitude and increasing your chances of a successful summit attempt. The ultimate challenge comes with the climb to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters), the highest point in Africa, where you will celebrate an incredible achievement above the clouds.
