<p>Early morning pickup from your hotel (7:00 am), and transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy in a private 4x4 safari vehicle.</p><p>Ol Pejeta Conservancy stands out in East Africa's wildlife conservation landscape as the last refuge for the northern white rhinos on the planet. It exemplifies the harmonious coexistence of humans and wildlife. Your stay will be at the luxurious Sweetwaters Serena Camp, conveniently located inside the conservancy, to offer unrivalled access to day and night game drives for a chance to see all of the Big Five, walking safaris, and incredibly close encounters with diverse animal residents of the conservancy as you drink from the watering hole nearby. <p>You will delve into the conservancy's splendid array of wildlife, encountering white rhinos, embarking on a nocturnal game drive, and engaging closely with chimpanzees rescued from the brutality of civil wars in neighbouring countries during the 1990s.</p><p>Picnic lunch served in the bush/ return to a hot lunch.</p><p>Return after lunch for a swim and nap, in readiness for an early dinner and a night game drive to see the conservancy's nocturnal life from the safety of your safari jeep.</p><p>Overnight stay at Sweetwaters Serena.</p>

<p>After breakfast, check out and drive to Meru National Park, which is an untouched gem of wilderness, serene and less crowded. Nestled on the equator, it is woven with 13 rivers and streams from the Nyambene mountains, shaping a diverse terrain from thick forests to wide plains dotted with doum palms.</p><p>The park hosts diverse species, including elephants, Grevy's zebras, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hartebeests, hippos, buffaloes, and reticulated giraffes. It also houses a rhino sanctuary, safeguarding the precious black and white rhinos.</p><p>Meru boasts over 400 bird species, including unique ones such as Peter's Finfoot, Pel's fishing owl, and a variety of kingfishers, rollers, bee-eaters, starlings, and weavers. Its waterways are bustling with life, home to hippos, crocodiles, and various fish.</p><p>Visitors can enjoy game drives, camping, picnics, hikes, and swimming in the pool near the Bwatherongi bandas.</p><p>All meals and overnight at Ikweta Safari Camp.</p>

<p>It's time to immerse yourself in a completely different landscape and climate. Samburu offers year-round game drives, with the life-giving Ewaso Nyiro River flowing through the expansive conservation area. This region is a sanctuary for unique species like the Grevy's Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, and Beisa Oryx. The intense heat makes early morning and late afternoon the ideal times for game drives.</p><p>Transfer from Ol Pejeta to Samburu, arriving at the Elephant Bedroom in time for a delicious hot lunch.</p><p>Over two days, you will discover this treasure from the Elephant Bedroom Camp, nestled on the shores of the Ewaso Nyiro, a spot frequently visited by large herds of elephants coming to quench their thirst from the river.</p><p></p><p>This afternoon, once the sun dims, you will embark on a cultural journey to a Samburu Village, where you'll gain firsthand insights into how this pastoralist community has coexisted with wildlife for generations and how they continue to navigate their cultural identity amidst the challenges posed by post-modernism.</p><p>Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Bedroom.</p>

<p>Wake up to an early morning game drive, just as the animal kingdom comes alive. Return to Elephant Bedroom for breakfast, where you'll likely be treated to great game viewing as elephants and other omnivores come round for a drink near the camp.</p><p>Mid-morning to afternoon, enjoy a swim, lunch, and a nap. Later, as the temperatures go down, you will be taken on an afternoon-evening game drive and watch an African sunset.</p><p>Dinner and overnight at the Camp</p>

<p>After a hearty breakfast, as you watch elephants drink far below your restaurant table, it's time to pack up and go to the next phase of your life's adventure.</p><p>The journey from Samburu to Nairobi is around 5 hours, but we'll probably stretch it to about 7 hours as we make stops on the way for health breaks, sampling markets, and/or a visit to a coffee farm near Nairobi.</p><p>Lunch is on the house at a local eatery with fresh African cuisine.</p><p>We end this eventful safari with a drop-off at your hotel or airport.</p>
