After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a landscape dominated by towering baobab trees and wide-open savannah. The park is especially known for its large elephant families, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of predators. Enjoy an extended game drive along the Tarangire River, the lifeline of the park, before continuing to Karatu in the late afternoon.
