Pick-up at the airport/hotel in early morning by our driver guide. Depart Nairobi after a short briefing for an approximately 8-hour scenic drive north through Kenya’s central highlands towards Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy stopovers along the way including a brief equator crossing experience and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the beautiful countryside landscapes. Proceed through Isiolo into the rugged semi-arid region of northern Kenya, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge. Later, head out for an afternoon game drive in search of the rare Samburu Special Five, elephants, lions, and other wildlife before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
