About this safari
This 6-day midrange Tanzania safari and cultural experience offers a rich journey through the country’s most iconic wildlife destinations combined with an authentic encounter with the Maasai people. The safari explores Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater, with the adventure beginning and ending in Arusha.
The journey begins in Tarangire National Park, a scenic wilderness famous for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife species. Travelers continue to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse ecosystem known for its lush forests, flamingos, hippos, and the famous tree-climbing lions.
The adventure then leads into the legendary Serengeti National Park, where endless plains host an incredible density of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest and antelope. Depending on the season, guests may also witness the world-famous Great Migration, one of nature’s most extraordinary wildlife spectacles.
A highlight of the journey is a visit to a traditional Maasai village, where travelers experience the rich cultural heritage of one of Tanzania’s most iconic communities. Guests will learn about Maasai traditions, daily life, and customs, including traditional dances and homestead visits.
The safari concludes with a descent into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports a dense concentration of wildlife within a dramatic volcanic landscape.
With comfortable midrange lodges, professional guides, and well-planned game drives, this safari perfectly blends wildlife adventure, scenic beauty, and cultural immersion, making it ideal for travelers seeking a complete and memorable Tanzania experience.
