You will go for an evening game drive on arrival.</p><p>We think you'll fall in love with Samburu National Reserve at first sight. It's a fantastic reserve that doesn't get the crowds you sometimes see in Kenya's south.</p><p>The reserve is well-stocked with predators, including lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena, with sightings of elephant, giraffe, hippo and zebra also common. It's a chance to see some northern animals that are hard to see elsewhere, including Somali ostrich, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe. Fabulous scenery and nearly 400 bird species too.</p><p>Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures cool, the light becomes softer and the wildlife begins to get active. <p>After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park.</p><p><strong>Lake Nakuru National Park</strong><br>Lake Nakuru National Park has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species—particularly the Rothschild giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo, and baboons are all residents here.</p><p>Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s renowned soda lakes and is world-famous for attracting millions of flamingos to its alkaline shores. Witnessing these legions of fuchsia-pink flamingos feed on the abundant algae that grows in the warm and shallow waters is a sight to behold.</p><p>It's not surprising that some of the aerial scenes from Out of Africa were shot here in Lake Nakuru National Park, with its fabulous views of the escarpment, lake and acacia forest. What also makes Lake Nakuru such a special place to visit is its populations of black and white rhinos, tree-climbing lions and endangered Rothschild's giraffes. You will have an evening game drive on arrival.</p><p>Ol Pejeta Conservancy is well-known for being a sanctuary for black rhinos in East Africa; during the game drive, you will get the opportunity to come close to rhinos.</p><p>There's a good chance you might see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) on your visit to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which sits high on the Laikipia<br>Plateau. The conservancy is a fantastic place to see all five species (although leopard can be elusive), and it's one of the best places to see rhino anywhere in Kenya. </p><p>Other wildlife highlights might include cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra and more. Over 500 bird species have been recorded here too. Keep an eye out for leopards, too. The birding is first-class, with over 400 different species recorded. <p>After breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive, then you will be driven to Tsavo East National Park. </p><p>Put on some warm clothes and enjoy an early morning game drive. This is the perfect time to experience the wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. The light is soft and warm – perfect for photography – and most animals are out and about, and active. If you’re not an early riser, you’ll definitely want to make an exception here.</p><p>On arrival in Tsavo East National Park, you will go for the evening game drive.</p><p>You'll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive. This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment. This is when you'll most enjoy being on safari.</p><p>Welcome to Tsavo East, one of Kenya's largest and wildest national parks. The rugged landscape is best known for its lions (many of the males have very scruffy manes, if at all), and for its many elephants coated in Tsavo's distinctive red dust.</p><p>The park's east is generally excellent for cheetah sightings, while other elusive species include the Somali ostrich, gerenuk and the extremely rare hirola antelope.
