You will drive through Kampala and head eastwards along the Kampala-Jinja highway. The first turn-off is to the Sezibwa Falls, a Buganda cultural heritage site, with beautiful waterfalls and a cool atmosphere. Spend an hour here hiking the rocks, watching birds, and learning about the myths of the falls and the ancient traditional worship that is still practiced here. Thereafter, return to the road and make another stopover at Mabira Rainforest—the largest forest in Central Uganda. Head out for a 2-hour trek to the track of the habituated grey-cheeked mangabeys and enjoy the aroma of an African jungle. Return and get back on the road and drive to Jinja. Check in at your accommodation, have lunch, and thereafter head out for an hour boat ride on Lake Victoria to the Source of the Nile. Transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.</p>
