Depart Nairobi early to traverse the central highlands, arriving at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy by midday. Ol Pejeta is unique for its status as a private sanctuary and its role in the conservation of the endangered black rhino and the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos. After lunch at your tented camp, spend the afternoon exploring the plains. A highlight is the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, established in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute, which provides a refuge for rescued chimpanzees. Overnight at your selected camp within the conservancy.
