About this safari
This 5-day safari is designed to showcase the Great Migration during the calving season in Ndutu (December–March), combined with classic game viewing in Tarangire National Park and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast savannah, seasonal river, and impressive concentration of wildlife. The Tarangire River is the main water source and attracts large herds of elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. Predators such as lions and leopards are commonly seen, while the park is also a paradise for bird lovers with over 500 bird species recorded. Enjoy an extensive game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight at The Castle at Ngorongoro.
