Early in the morning, our experienced guide will come to pick you from Entebbe to start your journey to the jungle of Kibale, best known as the primate capital of the world with about 13 species of primates. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk in the community of the Bigodie swamp after the long drive.

You’ll start the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, home to the highest concentration of primates in Africa. The park shelters over 1,500 chimpanzees, as well as several other species such as red colobus monkeys.

After a briefing from the park rangers, you’ll set off into the forest in search of a chimpanzee troop.

Once you find them, you’ll spend up to one unforgettable hour observing their behavior — watching them feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat.

After a day of trekking, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will head to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat safari. The Kazinga Channel is a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, which are both renowned for their rich diversity. During the boat safari, you can expect to see hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, and numerous bird species. Proceed with an late afternoon game drive before you go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
