5-Day Heart of the North Honeymoon

You will be picked up in the morning from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel and transferred to Samburu National Reserve by road or by air. Upon arrival, you will check in at Samburu Intrepids and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. You will explore the park in search of Samburu’s “Special Five”—the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. In the evening, you will enjoy a private dinner under the stars. Overnight: Samburu Intrepids

You will begin the day with an early morning game drive ideal for spotting elephants, lions, leopards, and other rare species. You may choose to enjoy a bush breakfast before returning to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon siesta or a couple’s massage. Later, you will enjoy a sunset game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, followed by a romantic candlelit dinner. Overnight: Samburu Intrepids

After breakfast, you will depart Samburu and enjoy a scenic drive past Mount Kenya toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You will check in at Sweetwaters Serena Camp and have lunch overlooking the waterhole. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive through one of Kenya’s most wildlife-rich conservancies, visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, and see the last two northern white rhinos (subject to availability). You may also opt for a night game drive for a chance to spot nocturnal wildlife. Overnight: Sweetwaters Serena Camp

You will begin the morning with a game drive in search of lions, elephants, rhinos, and cheetahs. After returning to camp, you will relax while enjoying views of Mount Kenya. In the afternoon, you may choose from activities such as lion tracking, horseback riding with rhinos, or a guided bush walk with a ranger. The day ends with a romantic sundowner on the plains and a special honeymoon dinner arrangement. Overnight: Sweetwaters Serena Camp

You will enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, followed by an optional short morning game drive depending on your schedule. Afterwards, you will travel back to Nairobi by road or flight and be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel, marking the end of your honeymoon safari.
