It is advisable to pack a lunch, carry sufficient drinking water, and consider hiring a porter, as the duration of the trek is unpredictable. The trek can last from a few hours to a full day, depending on the location of the gorillas, which is influenced by where they were last spotted the previous evening.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>A good level of physical fitness is recommended for this activity, but don't worry if you need a bit of help—sedan chairs, also known as "human helicopters," are available for hire. Once you find the gorillas, you'll get a truly unforgettable chance to spend up to an hour watching them in their natural home—taking photos and videos while respecting their space. <p>Wake up to breakfast at DaVinci Lodge and transfer to Kigali. </p><p>Depending on your flight schedule, you will have a Kigali city tour that includes a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Museum, where you'll gain insight into the events of the 1994 genocide. </p><p>You will also have the opportunity to explore local markets and experience the vibrant culture of the city.</p><p>The tour ends with a complimentary airport drop-off.</p>
