4-Day Maasai Mara $Lake Nakuru Safari

<p>Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from Nairobi (around 7:30 AM). The drive to<br>the Masai Mara takes approximately 5–6 hours, including a stop at the Great Rift Valley<br>Escarpment for photography. You will arrive at your budget lodge in time for a late lunch.<br>Afternoon Activity: Your first game drive in a 4x4 Landcruiser.<br>Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation by the campfire.</p>

<p>Morning: Following an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for a comprehensive<br>exploration of the reserve. During the game drive your guide will track the<br>massive herds of wildebeest and zebra as they congregate near the Mara River.<br>Midday: Enjoy a "bush lunch" at a designated picnic site under an acacia tree, providing a front-<br>row seat to the vast plains. Afternoon: Continue searching for the "Big Five." Visit the Mara River<br>to observe hippos and Nile crocodiles. The open grasslands offer excellent opportunities to<br>witness predator-prey interactions.<br>Evening: Return to camp for dinner and relaxation.</p>

<p>After an early breakfast, you will depart the Mara and head north toward Lake Nakuru National<br>Park (a 5–6-hour drive).<br>The Flamingo Experience: Upon arrival and after lunch, you will head to the shores of Lake<br>Nakuru. While flamingo populations fluctuate based on water alkalinity, the lake usually offers<br>sightings of both Lesser and Greater Flamingos, along with pelicans and cormorants.<br>Rhino Sanctuary: Lake Nakuru is Kenya’s premier sanctuary for both Black and White Rhinos.<br>It is almost guaranteed that you will complete your "Big Five" checklist here if you missed the<br>rhino in the Mara<br>Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation by the campfire.</p>

<p>Morning Activity: A final "sunrise" game drive. This is the best time to spot the elusive leopard<br>in the acacia woodlands surrounding the lake.<br>Departure: After a late breakfast, begin the drive back to Nairobi (3 hours). You will arrive in the<br>late afternoon, allowing for a final "Farewell Dinner" at a restaurant like Carnivore or any other that you may suggest.</p>
