4-Day Lake Naivasha Walking and Mara Horseback Safari

<p>We will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi or Airport preferably at 8:00 am. Depart the capital as we head on a scenic journey towards the Great Rift Valley through the Kenyan highlands and down the escarpments.<br><br>After stopping at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for some photos. You will arrive at Lake Naivasha around 1.5 hours after leaving Nairobi.<br>You'll board a boat at the Crescent Island Jetty for a scenic boat tour with a chance to see resident hippos, cormorants, pelicans, and many species of birds. You will also see Lake Front colonial homes farms and hotels. The boat tour will have a stop at Crescent Island, for a walking safari with giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas, waterbucks, and many more.<br><br>You'll depart Naivasha for your hotel at Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive for Lunch. You'll check in and relax in the afternoon. Then at 4:00 am, you'll proceed for your first game drive.</p>

<p>Today’s drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley, the longest rift in the crust of the earth, to the Masai Mara. You will spend two nights in this natural paradise among lions, zebra, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, and gazelles. There is a good chance of spotting cheetah and if you are lucky, the shy leopard. You will arrive at your camp in time for a late lunch. After lunch, you'll enjoy a short rest before departing on your afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge in time for dinner. You'll spend the next couple of days enjoying private game drives with your driver-guide in the Masai Mara looking for the Big Five and other wildlife.</p>

<p>After breakfast at the lodge, you'll proceed for 2 hours of horseback riding and later a game drive in the reserve. You will take packed lunch boxes with you, and return at sunset. You can visit a Masai village this afternoon (optional).<br>The Masai Mara is the best park in Kenya to view animals and it's one of the Seven Wonders of the World. After the game drive, you'll enjoy a visit to the Maasai Village where you get a chance to interact and learn the Maasai Way of life.</p>

<p>After breakfast, you'll depart Masai Mara National Reserve with wildlife viewing en route to the main Narok road. At Narok, you will have a chance for last-minute shopping, or lunch (at your own cost). You'll continue to Nairobi where we will drop you off at your hotel, your residence, or the airport.</p>
