You will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 3 hours.
The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons.
After a nice game drive, before it gets dark, you will drive to the lodge or campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll continue, as you crest the hillside, spread out before you, as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti.
Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, carrying a picnic lunch, you'll depart for an en-route game drive as you head to Ngorongoro Crater. Once you arrive at the crater, you'll descend 610 meters to the crater floor. You will have a half-day game drive in the crater and, if we are lucky, see the endangered black rhinoceros. The crater is home to a host of animals, as there is a permanent water source in the crater. Although animals are free to move in and out of the crater, many prefer to stay due to the lush grass and ample water. After the game drive, you'll return to Arusha, where we will drop you off at your preferred hotel.
