Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide from Maseke Adventures, who will brief you about the safari. Begin your journey with a scenic drive through lush countryside to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa.

Adventure Begins! After a hearty breakfast, head out for a full-day white-water rafting adventure on the Nile. Expect a thrilling ride through Grade 3–5 rapids with professional rafting guides and top-quality safety equipment. Evening Excursion: Later, take a guided boat ride to visit the Source of the Nile, where the river begins its 6,650 km journey to the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy photo opportunities and a calm moment by this historic landmark.

After breakfast, transfer to the cool highlands of Sipi as you enjoy the scenic drive, located at the foot of Mount Elgon in Eastern Uganda. The journey offers beautiful views of rolling hills and rural homesteads. On your arrival, check it and have your lunch. In the afternoon, hike through local trails to visit the three-tiered Sipi Falls, an iconic cascade surrounded by lush greenery. Join a local coffee experience, where you will learn about Arabica coffee growing, harvesting, roasting, and brewing, with a cup of freshly made coffee at the end.

After breakfast, depart for Moroto, the gateway to Uganda’s wild northeast and home to the Karimojong people, one of Uganda’s most unique pastoral communities. Enjoy a scenic road trip to the Karamoja Frontier on your day 4 of your 7-Day Whitewater rafting, Culture and Karamoja Uganda Adventure Safari. Evening Experience: Visit a Karimojong village for an authentic community encounter. Engage with elders, witness traditional dances, and learn about their nomadic lifestyle, cattle culture, and distinctive attire. Stay at Kara-Tunga Safari Camp – Deluxe Safari Tent – A stylish eco-camp that merges luxury and culture, nestled at the base of Mount Moroto with modern comforts and community engagement.

After an early breakfast, embark on a scenic journey through the dramatic landscapes of Karamoja to the remote Kidepo Valley National Park, considered one of Africa’s last great wildernesses. Evening Game Drive: On arrival, enjoy your first evening game drive in the Narus Valley, where lions, elephants, giraffes, and large buffalo herds roam freely.

Morning Game Drive: Explore the Kidepo Valley region, where ostriches, cheetahs, and rare antelope species like the lesser kudu thrive. Spot the rugged mountains of South Sudan in the distance. You can choose to visit a traditional IK village on Mount Morungole In the evening, return to the Narus Valley for golden-hour sightings of predators on the hunt.
