3-Day Thrilling Safari In Samburu National Reserve

<p>On arrival in Kenya in the morning hours, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and driven to to Samburu National Reserve. You will go for an evening game drive on arrival.</p><p>We think you'll fall in love with Samburu National Reserve at first sight. It's a fantastic reserve that doesn't get the crowds you sometimes see in Kenya's south.</p><p>The reserve is well-stocked with predators, including lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena, with sightings of elephant, giraffe, hippo and zebra also common. It's a chance to see some northern animals that are hard to see elsewhere, including Somali ostrich, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe. Fabulous scenery and nearly 400 bird species too.</p><p>Going on an evening game drive is one of the highlights of any safari. This is when temperatures cool, the light becomes softer and the wildlife begins to get active. Not only will you be out when the light is best for taking photos, but it's also one of the best times of day for seeing the animals.</p><p>Meals and overnight at <strong>Samburu Riverside Camp / Umoja Campsite</strong>.</p>

<p>After breakfast, you will return to the splendid Samburu National Reserve and enjoy getting to know the place a little better. You will go on a guided walking safari to see the dwellers of this lovely park up close.</p><p><strong>Walking safari, Samburu National Reserve</strong></p><p>You'll never get tired of going on a walking safari, where you'll leave behind the vehicle and step out into the wild. It can be a little nerve-wracking at first, but you'll be walking with an experienced guide and it's very safe.
