Program: After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti Park for a Game Drives for a full day. Depending on the season, you may have the extraordinary opportunity to witness the vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and Thomson gazelles on their annual journey in search of fresh grazing.
Typically, during the short rains of October and November, the herds move from Kenya’s Masai Mara into the northwestern Serengeti and toward the southern plains. Following the long rains of April, May, and June, they gradually migrate back through the western and northwestern corridors. However, these movements are influenced by rainfall patterns, so timing can vary.
Your experienced guide will skillfully track the herds and position you in ideal locations for optimal wildlife viewing. Where the herds roam, predators often follow so with some luck, you may even witness an exhilarating hunt. At the end of your game drive, you’ll check in at Serengeti Classic View Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
