3-Day Ruaha National Park Flying Safari

You will depart Dar-es-Salaam by air and fly to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a short game drive, exploring Ruaha’s remarkable ecosystem that attracts wildlife migrating from the northern reserves of Kizigo and Rungwa. The park features large populations of buffalo, elephants, lions, giraffes, kudus, impalas, elands, and zebras.

Today, you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Ruaha National Park. This region offers exceptional diversity, with opportunities to see elephants moving through camp, hippos foraging at night, African wild dogs hunting, silver-backed jackals, large prides of lions, and impressive greater and lesser kudus. The park’s vegetation—rich in baobabs, figs, palms, and tamarind trees—supports over 1,600 plant species and more than 370 bird species.

After breakfast, you will depart for a final game drive en route to the airstrip. You will board your flight departing Ruaha at 11:45 am and return to Dar-es-Salaam, where you will be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of your safari adventure.
