3-Day Greatest Masai Mara Kenya Safari Adventure

You'll have breakfast then drive to Lake Naivasha. You'll arrive and start a boat trip around Lake Naivasha immediately. The boat trip will take you around the highest lake in the Rift Valley with magnificent views of the lake and hundreds of of birds species. Here you also see tens of hippo pools from your boat. After the boat trip, you will proceed to the animal sanctuary for a walking safari. You will be transferred to your Nairobi location or to the airport for your home bound flight.

Today is all about choosing your own adventure! Your safari schedule is completely flexible, and you can chat with your guide in the morning to decide how you’d love to spend the day. Option 1: The Full-Day Safari Fiesta Sleep in a little, enjoy a relaxed breakfast… then set off around 7:30 am for a full-day game drive with a delicious picnic lunch packed for you. This option lets you head all the way to the famous Mara River, where the Great Migration drama unfolds during the season. With a full day out in the wild, your chances of spotting all kinds of wildlife are sky-high! You’ll roll back to camp in the late afternoon, sun-kissed and safari-satisfied. Option 2: The Early Bird Adventure + Sunset Safari If you’re feeling extra adventurous, wake up at 6:00 am for an early morning game drive — the best time to catch predators on the move! Afterward, head back to your accommodation for breakfast and some relaxing downtime. Later, at 4:00 pm, gear up again for an exciting afternoon game drive, chasing golden-hour magic across the plains. You’ll return to camp around 6:30 pm just in time for dinner and a cozy evening under the stars.

Your safari begins with a prompt 7:30 am pickup from your Nairobi hotel or directly from the airport, followed by a scenic drive southwest to the world-famous Masai Mara. A visit to the Masai Mara is one of Kenya’s greatest highlights. Its endless rolling plains, sweeping views, and rich concentration of wildlife — including the iconic Big Five — make it one of Africa’s most outstanding safari destinations. From July to October, the reserve becomes the stage for the legendary Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest and zebra cross into the Mara in search of fresh grazing. Their arrival draws in numerous predators, creating some of the most dramatic wildlife encounters on the continent. At 5:00 pm, Maasai warriors (Morans) will pick you up for a guided walking experience through the wild landscapes of the Mara. Their deep knowledge of the land, wildlife, and traditions gives you a rare perspective. The walk then leads into a cultural visit with the Maasai community — one of the few tribes that still preserve their ancient customs and way of life. After this enriching experience, you’ll return to your camp/lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.
