After entering the park, begin your game drive through landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees and the Tarangire River, an important water source for wildlife.
Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant populations. You may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas, warthogs and predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs.
