The Gorilla Tracking and Kibale Chimpanzee Trek Safari begins after an early breakfast. Departing from Kampala, we travel westward to Bwindi on a journey of approximately 9–10 hours. Along the way, we make a brief stop at the Equator, offering the rare chance to stand in both hemispheres at once and capture memorable photographs. The route continues through the region’s lush, rolling hills, with a lunch break in Mbarara town before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, aiming for a late afternoon arrival.
