Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your expert safari guide. Your adventure begins immediately with a scenic drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (approx. 3-4 hours), Uganda’s only rhino sanctuary. Ziwa is a conservation success story were critically endangered white rhinos roam freely in protected grasslands. On arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening surrounded by nature. After breakfast, set out for a guided rhino trekking experience. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is home to around 30 white rhinos, and trekking here gives you a chance to observe these massive animals up close in their natural habitat. Alongside rhinos, the sanctuary supports diverse birdlife, including species such as the purple-breasted sunbird and hornbills. Learn about Uganda’s rhino conservation efforts from your guide and take memorable photographs. Afternoon at leisure with optional nature walks. Overnight at Ziwa.
