2-Day TARANGIRE AND NGORONGORO CRATER SAFARI

After an early breakfast, depart from Arusha with a picnic lunch and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through this magnificent park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River. During the game drive, you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species. Lunch will be served at a designated picnic site inside the park. In the late afternoon, proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight near Tarangire or Karatu area.

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Africa, with a high concentration of animals in a compact area. Expect to see large prides of lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor near the hippo pool while taking in the breathtaking surroundings. After the game drive, ascend the crater rim and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
