Zimbabwe’s national parks rely on government leadership, conservation partnerships, community institutions and sustainable tourism. In 2026, Matusadona’s black-rhino and wild-dog reintroductions, new Hwange-Matetsi-Zambezi funding and landscape-scale corridor work show meaningful progress alongside persistent funding, climate and human-wildlife-conflict challenges.

One short Chobe camping safari is listed from $720, while a luxury 13-day journey reaches $16,145. [3][7]
Chobe National Park Safari Packages 2027: Costs & Booking options range from $560 plus $100 in park fees for a 3-day Victoria Falls trip to $16,145 for a 13-day luxury itinerary. Short camping tours suit budget travelers. Book early for 2027 departures, then compare verified operators and authentic reviews through SafariFind.
Chobe National Park Safari Packages 2027: Costs & Booking are guided trips into northern Botswana, often combined with Victoria Falls or other southern African destinations. Listed options include camping, classic wildlife tours, river cruises, and luxury multi-country journeys. Prices vary mainly by trip length, comfort level, and route.
Chobe National Park sits near Kasane and offers a well-known entry point for safari travel. Chobe National Park is associated with an estimated 120,000 elephants, giving elephant viewing a central role in many trips. [5] Package descriptions and prices still differ, so you should check what each operator includes.
Known for: elephant viewing, Chobe river experiences, and access from the Victoria Falls area. Best for: travelers who want a Botswana safari without committing to a long remote-camp itinerary. Price range: $560 plus fees to $16,145 per person across the listed examples. [7][8]
Safari packages matter because they combine several travel decisions. A package may cover lodging, transfers, activities, guides, and some park costs. However, the research data does not confirm the same inclusions for every tour. Always request a written quote before paying.
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic traveler reviews. You can compare trip length, destination, and listed prices before contacting an operator.

Chobe National Park offers a practical choice for travelers who want a short safari. The 3-day Victoria Falls and Chobe itinerary starts at $560 per person, plus $100 in national park fees. It starts and ends in Victoria Falls, which creates a simple route for travelers adding Botswana to a waterfall visit. [8]
Short trips also help control leave time and overall spending. A 3-day camping safari starts from $720, while a 7-day Botswana and Victoria Falls package starts from $2,590. [3] These examples show why comparing the full route matters more than comparing the headline daily rate.
Longer packages add more stops and more travel time. A 9-day TravelStride Botswana Adventure is listed at $1,799. [3] A longer trip may suit you if Chobe forms part of a wider Botswana plan, rather than the entire holiday.
Chobe safari packages cost from $560 plus park fees for a 3-day Victoria Falls trip, or from $720 for a 3-day camping safari. Longer listed tours reach $5,500, while a 13-day luxury itinerary costs from $16,145. [3][7][8] Treat these figures as planning benchmarks, not universal rates.
Prices in 2027 depend on the package design. A camping trip usually targets budget-focused travelers. A multi-country luxury itinerary adds more destinations, higher-end stays, and a Zambezi Queen river cruise. The research lists that 13-day route with Victoria Falls, Johannesburg, Kruger Park, and the cruise from $16,145. [7]
| Name | Price | Duration | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Victoria Falls and Chobe Safari | From $560 plus $100 park fees | 3 days | Not listed | Short trips starting and ending in Victoria Falls |
| Chobe Camping Safari | From $720 | 3 days | Not listed | Budget-focused travelers |
| Botswana and Victoria Falls Package | From $2,590 | Not listed | Not listed | Travelers combining two destinations |
| TravelStride Botswana Adventure | $1,799 | 9 days | Not listed | Longer Botswana itineraries |
| Newmarket Holidays Chobe Itinerary | From £4,383 to £5,279 | 10 days | Not listed | Travelers choosing fixed 2027 departures |
| Luxury Southern Africa Itinerary | From $16,145 | 13 days | Not listed | Luxury multi-country travel |
Newmarket Holidays lists a 10-day Chobe itinerary from £4,383 for a March 22, 2027 departure. The same itinerary is listed from £4,788 for May 25 and £5,279 for July 20. [6] These dates show how departure choice can change the total price.
Park fees deserve special attention. The Victoria Falls and Chobe listing adds $100 in national park fees to its $560 starting price. [8] Ask whether fees, transfers, meals, lodging, and activities appear in your quote. A low starting price may not represent the final amount.
Budget also changes with the trip style. Camping suits travelers focused on access and price. A fixed-departure tour may simplify planning. A luxury route suits guests who want several countries and premium experiences. Compare like with like before judging value.
Request quotes from verified safari operators for your 2027 budget
Start with the total price per person. Then check the number of days, starting point, ending point, and named destinations. A 3-day trip and a 13-day trip serve different needs, even when both include Chobe.
Next, check the review record. SafariFind lists authentic reviews to help you assess guide quality, communication, and trip delivery. Ratings were not provided in the research table for the packages above, so do not assume that an unlisted rating means poor service.
You should book a Chobe safari before your preferred 2027 departure sells out. The available research lists fixed departures on March 22, May 25, and July 20, 2027. [6] Early planning gives you more time to compare operators, confirm inclusions, and choose between camping, standard, and luxury travel.
Booking early is especially useful for fixed-date tours. Newmarket Holidays lists separate prices for March, May, and July departures. [6] Therefore, your preferred month can affect both availability and cost. Ask the operator to confirm the live price and remaining spaces before you make payment.
Best time to plan: August onward is a practical planning window for 2027 travel. Best for fixed departures: compare March, May, and July dates. Best practice: secure a quote, check its expiry date, and confirm all fees in writing.
Victoria Falls is a clear starting point for one listed Chobe package. The 3-day tour starts and ends in Victoria Falls and costs from $560 per person, before its $100 national park fee. [8] This route suits travelers who want to pair a waterfall visit with a short Botswana safari.
Kasane is another important planning point for Chobe trips, but the supplied package data does not provide a single standard transfer price. Ask each operator how you reach the park, who handles transfers, and whether border procedures form part of the itinerary.
Multi-country trips need more careful planning. The luxury 13-day itinerary includes Victoria Falls, Johannesburg, Kruger Park, Chobe, and a Zambezi Queen river cruise. It is listed from $16,145. [7] Such a route offers broad coverage, but it also requires more time and a larger budget.
SafariFind helps you compare tour operators before you commit. You can read traveler feedback, compare package details, and request a quote that matches your dates.
Book Chobe National Park Safari Packages by setting a budget, selecting trip dates, comparing inclusions, and checking operator reviews. Start with a short list of three options. Then request written quotes that show the total price, park fees, transport, accommodation, and cancellation terms.
A 3-day safari suits a short holiday or a Victoria Falls add-on. The listed camping option starts at $720, while the Victoria Falls and Chobe option starts at $560 plus $100 in park fees. [3][8] A 7- or 9-day route suits travelers who want more time in Botswana.
A 10-day itinerary creates space for a more planned, fixed-departure experience. Newmarket’s listed 2027 departures begin at £4,383 in March. [6] A 13-day luxury trip works best for travelers who want Chobe within a wider southern Africa journey.
Budget travelers: Start with camping packages from $720. [3] Ask about comfort, meals, transfers, and equipment before booking.
Couples and families: Compare 7- to 10-day itineraries. Look for clear room arrangements, simple transfers, and a daily plan that avoids rushed travel.
Luxury travelers: Review the 13-day itinerary from $16,145. [7] Confirm the included lodges, river cruise details, flights, and private services.
Multi-country travelers: Compare Botswana and Victoria Falls packages from $2,590. [3] Check how many nights remain in Chobe after travel between destinations.
Price alone cannot show the full value of a safari. Ask whether the quote includes park entry, guiding, accommodation, meals, transfers, and activities. The supplied listings confirm some fees, but they do not confirm identical inclusions across all packages.
Check the operator’s communication before booking. A clear answer about dates and fees is useful evidence of good trip planning. SafariFind’s marketplace helps you compare verified operators and read authentic reviews from previous travelers.
For more planning context, compare the Chobe lodges guide for luxury and budget stays. Travelers adding the Delta can also review Okavango Delta safari costs for 2027.
Chobe safari attractions center on wildlife viewing, river-based experiences, and access to nearby Victoria Falls. The supplied research identifies Chobe as a destination linked with an estimated 120,000 elephants. [5] Package activities differ, so travelers should confirm whether game drives, boat trips, or cultural visits appear in their chosen itinerary.
Chobe National Park forms one part of a larger Botswana travel plan for some guests. Travelers can compare Chobe with the Moremi Game Reserve package guide when they want to add another wildlife area.
Victoria Falls and Chobe work well together in short itineraries. One listed package begins and ends in Victoria Falls, lasts 3 days, and starts at $560 before $100 in park fees. [8] This option gives travelers a defined route without requiring a long, open-ended safari.
Broader Botswana trips may include other landscapes and activities. Travelers interested in a different style can read about Okavango Delta walking safari packages. However, a walking safari is not the same product as a Chobe vehicle or river itinerary.
Choose attractions based on your goals. Elephant viewing suits wildlife-focused guests. A Victoria Falls combination suits first-time visitors to southern Africa. A river cruise suits travelers seeking a slower, premium experience. A camping trip suits travelers who place cost and time above luxury.
Chobe National Park Safari Packages 2027: Costs & Booking options start at $560 plus $100 in park fees for one 3-day Victoria Falls trip. Another 3-day camping safari starts at $720. Longer packages range from $1,799 to $16,145 in the listed examples. [3][7][8]
The lowest listed starting price is $560 per person for a 3-day Victoria Falls and Chobe safari. The package adds $100 in national park fees and starts and ends in Victoria Falls. [8] A separate 3-day camping safari starts at $720. [3]
You need at least 3 days for the shortest listed Chobe safari packages. A 7- to 10-day trip gives you more time for a wider Botswana or Victoria Falls route. A 13-day luxury itinerary adds several southern African destinations. [3][6][7]
Book your Chobe safari as early as possible after choosing your dates. Listed 2027 departures include March 22, May 25, and July 20, with prices from £4,383, £4,788, and £5,279 respectively. [6] Confirm live availability before making payment.
Not every package has the same inclusions. One 3-day Victoria Falls and Chobe listing adds $100 in national park fees to its $560 price. [8] Ask for a written breakdown of park fees, transfers, accommodation, meals, and activities.
You can book through SafariFind, which connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic reviews. Compare Chobe National Park Safari Packages 2027: Costs & Booking options, read traveler feedback, and request a quote that matches your dates and budget.

"On 10.9. until 1.10. In 2023, I went on a trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe and a short visit to Zambia with my clients - friends. I carefully prepared the trip in cooperation with the manager of Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours, Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. After arriving in Gaborone we organized a short tour of the city ourselves and met Tongesai in Maun. Tongesai was our driver and guide practically the whole way. We visited the Okavango River Delta and its surroundings (Moremi Reserve, Mokoro boat cruise, flight over the Okavango Delta. This was followed by a visit to the Makgadikgadi Salt Flats, then the Elephant Sands area and in Botswana Chobe National Park with a cruise on the Chobe River. Then we crossed to Zimbabwe, which was the main part of our journey. In the Victoria Falls area, we visited the Monde settlement, took a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls, followed by a cruise on the Zambezi River as part of a visit to the national park of the same name. We also walked past Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwean side and had a Boma dinner in the evening (too much of a "tourist thing"). On the Zambian side of the falls we saw white rhinos in Mosi - oa - Tunya National Park, then visited the museum in Livingstone and walked the Zambian side of the falls. From Victoria Falls, we headed to Hwange National Park, where we had a beautiful program - a safari, and after Hwange, there was also a very interesting program in Matobo National Park (there, among other things, white rhinos (a mother with her little daughter), beautiful rock formations and prehistoric cave drawings. The next place visited was Khami with very interesting buildings, and then we visited the ruins of Great Zimbabwe, which are among the most important world monuments. This was followed by a visit to the Chinhoya Karst and finally the gallery in Harare. I would also like to comment on the provision of services: Accommodation in the hotels was at the standard, expected level, only the service at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel was rather lazy. Accommodation in lodges - very good and the best accommodation was in Iganyana tented camp in Hwange National Park, mainly due to the extraordinary professionalism and very friendly attitude of the staff there towards us, the visitors. I must also highly praise all the local guides we met everywhere, e.g. in Chobe, Hwange and Matobo National Parks. I want to emphasize that this journey is one of the most interesting that I have made around the world. I believe that my clients - friends were also satisfied with the set. Thanks to the travel agency Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours and Mr. Tongesai Mutematsaka. I recommend Cultural Vibes Travel & Tours to anyone considering a trip to Zimbabwe."

"I spent a week in Botswana with cultural vibes, travels & tours and had not a single dull moment. The hotels/lodges we stayed at were very clean and service was professional. On the drives I had good conversations with the tour operator as he taught me a lot about the culture and about all the different animals (which we saw a lot of). Overall I had a great experience and would definitely book again."

"Tongesai was awesome from the start. I knew he was a good tour operator because he answered all of my questions in a timely manner and no question was ever stupid. Everything was just as he said once we arrived and really it was better. We prepared for about a year in advance for this trip and the tour operator was instrumental and making this trip a success. I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. Give Tongesai a call or email, and you will 100% not be disappointed. I have a very deep understanding of border crossing and transportation challenges in many African countries at this point because of the efforts of the tour operator. This makes my wife and I have very comfortable to approach another visit or look at visiting a different African country."

"We went on a 3 day safari, and even though Tongesai did not lead it himself, I want to highly recommend his services. Our group consisted of just my family; my wife, children (9, 13, 14), and me. Tongesai acted as the agent, coordinating with the organization in Botswana that ran the actual tour. He met us several days in advance, and had informed us of some critical information (like make sure to bring birth certificates for the kids) well in advance. On the first day of the Safari, he came to pick us up, and drove us to the border, where he coordinated a smooth hand over to the Botswana organization. The guide from our safari was so good! ‘Cobra’ grew up in the bush, and if shows. He was frequently coordinating with, and showing other tour guides where to find the best big game sightings. We saw so many animals, including lions, hippos, tons of elephants and giraffes, and too many other animals to name. The meals were also great! Cobra and Tongesai had contracted with ‘chef K’ for catered breakfast, lunch and dinner at the camp. All meals were great. And the camp itself was organized above my expectations. Very nice tents, raised cots, plenty warm, tables, chairs and napkins at every meal! All in all, the experience was pretty unforgettable. It’s not a cheap experience, but based on our trip I can highly recommend Tongesai’s services!"
