Madagascar tour prices for 2027 already span more than $4,800 per person, before you choose your hotel style.
Antananarivo tour packages for 2027 cost about $2,492 to $7,305, based on current package listings and route length. Most trips combine Antananarivo with Andasibe, Morondava, Ranomafana, or southern parks. A 7-night package costs $3,327, while a 12-day budget tour costs about $150 per day. Confirm dates, hotels, flights, and park access with a verified operator before booking.
Antananarivo tour packages 2027: Costs, Hotels and Routes are built around Madagascar's capital city. Antananarivo is usually the start or end point for trips across the island. Routes can include rainforest parks, highland towns, dry forests, beaches, and baobab country.
Antananarivo tour packages in 2027 suit travelers who want a planned route rather than separate hotel and transport bookings. Current examples show a wide price gap. A 7-night package costs $3,327, while a 13-day private-guide trip costs $2,938 per person for two or three travelers. Larger groups may pay $2,375 per person. [2][8]
The biggest price drivers are trip length, private transport, domestic flights, hotel class, guide service, and group size. A short Andasibe trip has a different budget from a long route through Morondava and Kirindy. Therefore, compare the route before comparing the headline price.
SafariFind helps travelers compare verified tour operators, package details, and authentic traveler reviews. This guide explains what current prices cover, which routes make sense, and how to check a hotel plan before you pay.
Quick answer: Antananarivo tour packages for 2027 cost about $2,492 to $7,305 in current listings. A 7-night option costs $3,327. Budget tours can cost about $150 per day, while private tours often cost less per person when four or five people share the trip. [2][3][8]
Antananarivo tour packages in 2027 combine accommodation, transport, guided visits, and selected activities into one booking. The capital gives you access to routes across central, eastern, western, and southern Madagascar. Package value depends on what the operator includes, so read the day-by-day plan carefully.
Antananarivo is more than a city stop. It is the transport base for routes to Andasibe, Antsirabe, Ambositra, Ranomafana, Morondava, and other areas. One current 8-day itinerary visits Antananarivo, Antsirabe, Ambositra, Ranomafana, Ranomafana National Park, and Saham. [2]
Madagascar is best for travelers who enjoy varied trips. You may spend one day in a busy capital, then travel through highland roads toward rainforest. Another route may add western dry forest and Morondava. That contrast is the main reason to plan the route first.
Known for: Antananarivo packages are known for combining city visits with lemur parks, highland towns, rainforest, and coastal travel. The exact wildlife and park stops depend on the itinerary. Ask the operator to name each park, hotel, transfer, and included activity.
The [Andasibe-Mantadia lodges 2027 guide](https://safarifind.com/blog/andasibe-mantadia-lodges-2027-rates-by-budget-and-room-type) helps when your route includes the eastern rainforest. It gives you a useful way to compare room types before selecting a wider Madagascar package.
Travelers who want a shorter wildlife route can also consider [Andasibe-Mantadia National Park](https://safarifind.com/destinations/andasibe-mantadia-national-park). The area works well for a focused trip from the capital, while longer packages add more driving and more hotel changes.
Compare 2027 Antananarivo tour packages by route and price before choosing your hotel or transport plan.
Antananarivo tour packages cost about $2,492 to $7,305 in the current 2027 planning range. Lower prices often use standard hotels, shared services, or a focused route. Higher prices can reflect longer travel, private guides, better hotels, flights, or more included activities.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tourhub Madagascar package | $3,327 | 7 nights | Not stated | Travelers wanting a multi-stop group route |
| Budget Madagascar tour | About $150 per day | 12 days | Not stated | Travelers watching daily costs |

| Private-guide Madagascar tour | $2,938 or $2,375 | 13 days | Not stated | Couples, families, and small groups |
| Exoticca Madagascar package | From £3,749 | 11 days | Not stated | Travelers seeking a longer island route |
The Tourhub 7-night package costs $3,327, reduced from $3,407. Its listed destinations include Antananarivo and other major stops. [2] The budget listing costs about $150 per day and includes breakfast accommodation, park entrance fees, and domestic flights. [3]
SafariFind uses $1,500 to $2,000 as a 2026 planning benchmark for a five-day Andasibe-Mantadia itinerary that starts and ends in Antananarivo. SafariFind also lists a five-day southern-highlands itinerary from $926. These figures help you set a starting budget, but they do not replace a current quote. [4]
Exoticca lists an 11-day Madagascar trip from £3,749, reduced from £5,769. The route focuses on lemurs, baobabs, and the Malagasy coast. [6] A private-guide trip lists $2,938 per person for two or three travelers, or $2,375 for four or five travelers, based on twin sharing and a stated 12% discount. [8]
Use the price as a starting point, not the final answer. Request quotes from verified Madagascar tour operators and compare what each package includes before you pay a deposit.
The best Antananarivo route depends on your trip length and main interest. Choose Andasibe for a shorter rainforest plan, Ranomafana for a wider eastern route, or Morondava for a longer western trip. Hotel quality varies by stop, so treat the room plan as part of the route.
Antananarivo and Andasibe make a practical short route for first-time visitors. SafariFind lists a five-day Andasibe-Mantadia planning benchmark of $1,500 to $2,000 per person. This route limits long transfers and keeps the trip focused on rainforest and wildlife. [4]
Andasibe I can work as a focused stop before or after the capital. The nearby [Andasibe-Mantadia safari itinerary for 2027](https://safarifind.com/blog/andasibe-mantadia-safari-itinerary-for-2027-4-day-price) is useful when you want to compare a shorter plan.
The eastern route takes more time because it links several highland and rainforest stops. A current 8-day itinerary includes Antananarivo, Antsirabe, Ambositra, Ranomafana, Ranomafana National Park, and Saham. [2] This route suits travelers who prefer several landscapes over a single park.
Ranomafana National Park belongs on the plan when rainforest is a main goal. Ask whether the listed hotel sits near the park entrance or requires another long transfer each day.
Morondava adds a different setting from the eastern rainforest. A 12-day budget tour includes Antananarivo, Morondava, and Kirindy Mitea National Park. The listed rate is about $150 per day, with breakfast accommodation, park entrance fees, and domestic flights included. [3]
Read the [Kirindy Forest Reserve package price guide](https://safarifind.com/blog/kirindy-forest-reserve-safari-packages-2027-prices-2) before booking a western route. The extra travel can be worth it, but only when the package gives enough nights at each stop.
Southern Madagascar suits travelers who want long road journeys and varied scenery. SafariFind lists a five-day southern-highlands itinerary from $926. A longer plan may add [Isalo National Park](https://safarifind.com/destinations/isalo-national-park), coastal stops, or both. [4]
The [Isalo National Park fees and tours guide](https://safarifind.com/blog/isalo-national-park-fees-2027-tours-costs-and-booking) helps you check park costs before requesting a quote. For beach time, compare the [best beach resorts in Madagascar for 2027](https://safarifind.com/blog/best-beach-resorts-in-madagascar-2027-prices-compared).
Budget tours generally use standard hotels in Antananarivo and guesthouses near Ranomafana, according to the current budget listing. [3] That choice keeps the daily price lower. It may also mean fewer room features and longer walks to restaurants or park gates.
Mid-range packages should name each property or state the hotel class. Ask about private bathrooms, breakfast, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, power cuts, and luggage storage. Twin sharing can lower the price, while a single room usually changes the quote.
Coastal routes may include [Nosy Sakatia](https://safarifind.com/destinations/nosy-sakatia), [Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve](https://safarifind.com/destinations/nosy-tanikely), [Nosy Iranja](https://safarifind.com/destinations/nosy-iranja), [Lokobe National Park](https://safarifind.com/destinations/lokobe-excursion), or [Nosy Komba](https://safarifind.com/destinations/nosy-komba). These places can require extra boat transfers and nights, so check if the price includes those services.
Start by choosing one main route, then set your trip length and budget. Ask for a day-by-day quote that names hotels, transport, meals, park fees, guide services, flights, and cancellation terms. This simple check prevents a low headline price from becoming an expensive final bill.
Pick the experience that matters most. A short trip can focus on Andasibe. A longer trip can add Ranomafana or Morondava. A beach extension may require domestic flights or boat transfers. One clear goal makes it easier to reject routes that spend too much time in vehicles.
Use $150 per day as a budget reference only when the listed inclusions match your needs. Use $1,500 to $2,000 as a five-day Andasibe planning benchmark. Compare these figures with the $3,327 seven-night example and the $2,938 private-guide example. [2][3][4][8]
Remember that package totals may use different currencies. The Exoticca example is priced in pounds, while other listings use US dollars. Do not compare the numbers without checking duration, group size, hotel level, and inclusions. [6]
SafariFind connects travelers with verified tour operators and authentic reviews from previous travelers. Read the review details, not only the star score. Look for comments about driver skills, hotel accuracy, timing, airport pickups, and how the operator handled changes.
Ask each operator the same questions. A useful quote should show the exact 2027 dates, currency, room plan, transport, meals, park fees, and guide costs. If two prices differ, this list shows why.
Madagascar routes can involve long drives and uneven paths. Tell the operator about mobility needs, food allergies, medical concerns, and preferred walking pace. Also ask about luggage limits for domestic flights if your route includes them.
Travelers who want ideas beyond the main routes can read [Things to do in Antananarivo for 2027](https://safarifind.com/blog/things-to-do-in-antananarivo-2027-day-trips-prices). The guide can help you add city time without cutting a key park visit.
Book only after the operator confirms the final plan in writing. Prices and availability can change before 2027, especially for flights, popular hotels, and private vehicles.
Antananarivo tour packages cost about $2,492 to $7,305 in the current 2027 planning range. A 7-night example costs $3,327, while a budget tour costs about $150 per day. Final prices depend on hotels, route length, transport, flights, and group size. [2][3]
A Madagascar package can last 7 nights, 12 days, or 13 days in current examples. Five days can suit a focused Andasibe or southern-highlands route. Longer trips work better when you want to combine Antananarivo with Morondava, Ranomafana, or coastal areas. [2][3][4][8]
Andasibe is a strong choice for a short rainforest route from Antananarivo. Ranomafana suits a longer eastern itinerary, while Morondava suits travelers who want western Madagascar and dry-forest stops. Your best route depends on available days, budget, and interest in parks or beaches.
Budget Madagascar tours commonly list standard hotels in Antananarivo and guesthouses near Ranomafana. Confirm the property name, room type, bathroom, breakfast, power supply, and location before booking. A lower price may reflect simpler rooms or fewer hotel services. [3]
Park fees are included in some packages but not all. One current budget listing includes park entrance fees, breakfast accommodation, and domestic flights. Ask your operator to list every included fee for each park and activity. [3]
Use SafariFind to compare verified tour operators, package details, prices, and authentic traveler reviews. Request a quote with your dates and route, then confirm hotels, transfers, flights, park fees, meals, and cancellation terms before paying.
Antananarivo tour packages for 2027 range from focused five-day trips to longer island routes costing several thousand dollars. Current examples include a $3,327 seven-night package, a budget option near $150 per day, and a 13-day private-guide trip priced at $2,938 per person for two or three travelers. [2][3][8]
Choose Andasibe when you want a shorter rainforest trip. Choose Ranomafana, Morondava, or a southern route when you have more time. Then check every hotel, transfer, flight, meal, park fee, and guide service in writing.

"From start to finish, this tour was an unforgettable experience. When enquiring about planning this trip ,Tony was very responsive, informative and. answered all our questions as we went along .When my suitcase didn't arrive in Madagascar Tony sorted it for me and negotiated with the airline on my behalf, going above and beyond and was very much appreciated Our guides were all knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the whole trip both fun and informative. The itinerary was perfectly balanced — we saw all the major highlights without ever feeling rushed, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos, ask questions, and just soak up the atmosphere. The transportation was comfortable, everything ran smoothly and on time, and as it was a private tour we were able to spend as little or as much time at each place as we chose. Every stop had something unique to offer, and the insider stories and local tips really brought the culture to life. It’s rare to find a tour that gets every detail right, but this one truly did, guides were on time , transfers were smooth, everything was flexible to our wishes. Hugh thanks to Tony, Sidney, Princee and Nico. The drivers were all awesome and we always felt safe despite some roads been very African massage- bumpy ! We left with amazing memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for the country. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience. We would do it again in a heartbeat!"

"We have recently finished a 10 day tour of Madagascar in April 2025 using the operator “Madagascar Natural Tours” from start to finish it almost felt too good to be true, I have never met any one else from Australia who has been to Madagascar so we were very hesitant in whether it would be safe and had no idea how to organise a holiday there or what to expect. Harilala was extremely professional and communicative the entire way and answered every single (too many) questions of ours and made us feel comfortable and excited. He planned our itinerary just perfectly we listed a couple of things we had wanted to see - baobab avenue, lemurs and Nosy Be. He organised our whole itinerary, accomodation and flights for us so that it flowed seamlessly. He provided options in accomodation as we were seeking honeymoon style resorts. The hotels that he booked were beautiful, clean, great food and lovely staff! We had a few internal flights in our itinerary and it was so nice stepping off the plane and trusting that there would be a guide there waiting for us to get us to our hotel. The few times during our stay we had a question regarding our tour, Harilala would reply to our messages almost immediately and paid very careful attention to ensure we were happy and getting the most out of our tour. Using Madagascar Natural Tours took all stress out of the holiday / planning and allowed us to just show up and make memories of a lifetime! I would highly recommend this company to anybody curious to explore Madagascar! Particularly if you do not speak French, we struggled with the language barrier however all guides had amazing English which was such a relief. We can’t wait to come back in a few years time!!"

We'll definitely be back to see the southernmost part of the country."
